Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

[He gets here at five, setting up and making sure things are still clean, interviewing people who want to teach or help out. Then, when training starts he helps teach, watches, talks, pokes people and makes certain to give extra hugs out at the Hug Brigade area. After training is over Gai's here until ten, cleaning up and putting things away, completely available to be pestered.]

Kanji watched as a message on his mirror blinked once again, his messages from the prior evening bouncing back. Another friend had been sent home, her communicator collected and archived with the others.

Just like Souji's. Yosuke's. Ling's. Megumi's. Now, it was Cinderella.

But she didn't belong here, he thought to reassure himself. She had no place being subjected to the demons, the witches, and everything else this war brought along with it. He was relieved when Nanako was sent home, wasn't he? ...Of course he was.

Nanako was home safe. And Cinderella? She was back home, marrying the shit out of that prince and having the best damn happily ever after ever in that big, lavish castle... as she should, damn it! She was back in her story!

Kanji hadn't realized he wasn't even looking at his communicator anymore, and that he'd punched the poor tree he'd been standing near, fist lingering against the trunk as that sting of pain in his knuckles brought him back to reality. God damn it, he missed his friends. He was so sick of them disappearing. They were all safe, but... was he selfish for feeling a little bummed?

He lowered his fist and sighed, brushing the bark off his hand before tucking the mirror away in his pocket. At the very least, he had to swing by Cinderella's apartment and see if any notes were left behind, anything at all... but until then, he was here in the park. Kanji couldn't let himself fall behind on his own training, not with two solid mission victories in a row!

At the very least, it'd get his mind off of things.

[ This certain braided teen and now self-ousted Gundam pilot is hanging out under the nearest tree, a box with a blanket inside of it settled right next to him, and it's mewing with the sounds of a few kittens. Duo is currently scratching at the mother's head, smiling softly.

He'd already done his training, and after he was finished decided it wouldn't be a terrible idea to bring the kittens to see if anyone would pass by and want one.

Plus, kittens are always a great way to start a day, right? ]
