Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

[Here, have a dragon that is just lying on a small patch of land overlooking what the others are doing. He isn't training along with everyone right now due to the fact that he finds himself partner-less, however he would not mind speaking with anyone should they want to talk.]

[Ah, it was Mr. Kojuro's partner, and his fellow Zone Leader. He gave him a bow of his head in return.]

Good morning, Mr. Auron. How have you been faring?

[He saw his post, and he knows what it is like.]

Well. I got a little drunk with Masamune Date. But, now I have to get back to protecting the city and finding another partner so I don't get removed as a Zone Leader.

Ah, then we are in the same situation as well. I forgot which Zone you overlook, but I am in charge of the Entertainment and Red Light District.

I think I should look in on taking on a partner sometime soon.

As for the drinks, I hope you enjoyed your time with Mr. Date. As my fellow dragon, I know that he himself was also undergoing the same sort of grief. Or even more, as they are from the same world.

Ah, then we are indeed quite next to one another as far as our zones are concerned.

[He considers this, if they were to divide two shifts, one in his zone, and the other in his own zone. That is, -if- they were to become partners. Oh, that comment reminds him of things:]

We are usually found in Coverts back in England where there are a group of us. However, clannishness depends on the breed, of which the Yellow Reapers are highly clannish indeed. My breed are not so much so, even if there are only eight of us in the entire world.

[Oh, but you meant...]

Beg pardon, but as far as Mr. Date goes, I would rather like to think so. He is a rather interesting sort of person, and the only one whom I have heard to like being referred to as a dragon. Hence, I extend him that same courtesy as I would one of my kind.

[He gives him a slight smile with that.]

He's pretty proud of that label. And interesting is a good word for him. *chuckling*

How many different kinds of dragons are there?

It is, among other things, but it does suit him with the sort of personality he has. He does seem like he can be quite gregarious, though at times he can be stoic as well. A lot of facets to that man, you know.

Hm? Oh, I could not really explain, as every country seems to have its own native breeds of dragons, and depending on that country's size is how many native breeds there might be. China, where my parents are from, has a vast array of dragons that I myself was not able to even ask about the number of different breeds.

China has been breeding dragons for thousands of years in my world. Much more time in order to develop techniques for creating different breeds than the Europeans.

[And this is all probably go over Auron's head, but at least he's explaining a little.]

[Darcia has never seen anything remotely resembling a dragon before, and it is curiousity that drives him to walk closer, attempting to take in all of his features. But as he is close enough to view Temeraire's face, he thinks he recognizes the expression in those great eyes.]

Forgive me for being so bold, but you have recently lost one dear to you, have you not?

[He turned to look over at the man. The tip of his tail is now gently swaying from side to side, his sharp claws resting gently over the ground.]

That... is correct, sir.

[Not as if he could hide it. He did not know how else to reply to that question aside from simply going for the truth. However, it surprised him that this gentleman was so forward with asking thus so.]

[WHAT IS THAT. Is that an oversized lizard that looks suspiciously like a dragon....]

[Lavi walks closer for a better look, slowly coming to a stop a little ways away from Temeraire. He rubs his eye.]

[And rubs it again.] I'm seeing things.

[He turns to look at the young man with the eyepatch.

Interesting.

He shakes his head, as he flutters his wings slightly, tip of his tail swishing side-to-side slowly.]

If you are referring to me, young man, then no. You are not seeing things, you are verily seeing me as I am.

[And he talks too!? Forgive the stupid look on Lavi's face Tem, he'll snap out of it in a moment.]

So you're really a dragon?

[shendefeng]

Yes, I am. I can only assume from your reaction that dragons do not really exist in your world, but are more a part of myth and lore. Am I correct in my assumption?

[Because, it was usually the case, sadly enough.]

Yeah, pretty much. [Because he's sure if dragons did still exist then the Bookmen would have known.] I've read everything I could about them, but I haven't seen one just yet.
