Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

To be honest I thought it was always just witches, but seeing that you were capable of using it just now, I have to wonder if it's possible for other meisters to have it as well.

The Soul Protect that I've known was an ability that witches devised to hide their soul wavelength. Only those with highly advanced Soul Perception can break through it, but only a very small handful are capable of it, thus making it the witch's only real defense. Not even my own Soul Perception is able to perceive a witch's soul while it is under Soul Protect. However, witches are unable to use any of their magic while they have it on, thus they must release it to perform their spells.

I do not know if your ability in particular is the exact same or perhaps some kind of variant similar to it.

It might be best to test the limits of what it can do for two reasons: one, I'd like to know what scenarios to watch out for so that I don't end up walking into a trap at some point, and, two, it could give an idea of anything to look for concerning our opponents' usage of the technique. If it is a variant of the same technique, it would help give our troops something to look for rather than simply being blind until it's too late.

It would be interesting to study. Personally I'm still puzzled by how I could not detect any discernible type of wavelength about it.

If you don't mind, I would like to continue and try to examine your wavelengths when you activate your ability. Perhaps at a later time once you feel more comfortable using it, of course.

I don't feel much of anything when I use it to be honest, so any time you'd like to study it is fine.

I'd actually like to privately speak with you about another matter. The situation isn't quite the same, but you did technically hire me. Section 2 of the standard contract: "Anything that might prevent acceptable completion of any and all tasks must be presented to the client", unquote.
