Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

How have you been? I am afraid I have been keeping too busy to check in on certain people that I should make more time for.

I've been better... but things are looking up. [He offers her a small smile.] Life is different here compared to being in an army.

[She sips her coffee quietly, and then looks up at him, tilting her head a little.]

Is it? I have heard things about military lifestyles before, but... I suppose this kind of war has a bit more freedom to it, hmm?

It is. [He gives her a little smile before taking a sip of his coffee.] It's far more liberating than my previous lifestyle.

[She nods at that, pouring herself a little more coffee before taking a sip.]

Well, I cannot say it is not similar for me- I can afford to do a lot more here than I could in my own world.

So, tell me... whatever kept you from doing what you wanted in your world?

[malandragem]

I had to work, of course.

What kind of work did you do?

[malandragem]

I was a housemaid for a very important family.

Ah... that's a surprising occupation. [But it explains why she's so excellent at serving others.]

How did you learn to fight?

Most people do not expect it.

Well- there was a school for capoeira near my home. I learned from watching and imitating the boys while they practiced.

Now that is impressive. I went through formal training to learn how to fight. It's truly something else that you were able to pick up the skill just by watching and imitating.
