Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

[ The most important thing...huh? Yuri closed his eyes, and thought...The image of poorly paved streets and slightly rundown houses, surrounded by smiling faces, crossed his mind. Even with no money, those smiles were priceless. His home.

The image of Brave Vesperia, together under the same star they named themselves after. Battle after battle, they never grew apart. His friends.

The image of the back of a knight, his cape blowing in the wind, a pipe in his hand. The image still in his mind after so many years. His...

A little smirk crossed Yuri's face. ]

[ He nodded in understanding. He began to concentrate on the feelings behind those images in his head. They were things he wanted to protect...because they were important to him. That's why he was here now, wasn't it? To protect and fight for Death city.

He began to feel strange, but he didn't break his concentration. ]

I'm starting to feel something. That means I'm getting there, right?

[He was quiet for a few moments to allow for that to happen, and when he felt there had been enough time, he broke his silence.]

When you start feeling a warmth in your chest, I want you to slowly reach out to it with your mind.

[ He nodded, his eyes still closed. The more he concentrated...the more he felt something different. An unfamiliar feeling. Warm.

This is what he was talking about, right? Reach out to it with his mind, huh? That was an abstract way to put it, but hey, he wasn't the one teaching it. Yuri did his best to follow his words, concentrating on the warm feeling. ]

I'm starting to feel a little weird now.

[He watched quietly while Yuri tried to focus on transforming. It took some time, but his expression brightened when he caught sight of the katana falling to the ground.]

Ooohwaaah! Yeah it did! You're a sword.

I've always wondered what it felt it. [ He never imagined it'd feel like...well...this. He didn't feel stiff at all, but at the same time, he knew he couldn't move? It was weird. ]

It's a little strange at first, but it's something that you get used to.

Eh? Oh! In the beginning you will, but you'll find it getting easier over time until you can just transform at will.

Well... it's not like they use you. It's a full partnership so if you don't work together, then you both won't be able to fight as well as you could. Ordinary weapons don't do anything against kishing eggs or witches, sorry.
