Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

[Samus can be found in batch four, truly beating the everloving hell out of a training dummy as though it were personal. She doesn't seem particularly pleased, though; in truth, she feels like this ought to be easier. For some reason, it isn't.

[Aqua had gone through her warm-up earlier when she spotted Samus beating on the dummy.

She watched for a moment, observing the way she was moving and the level of aggression she was showing before approaching. She didn't bother staying silent. After all, it wasn't like Aqua wanted to sneak up on her.

Besides, in her experience it was never a good idea to sneak up on someone in these situations.]

[Punch, kick, punch - gh. Upon noticing Aqua, she stopped, picking up a nearby towel and wiping the sweat from her brow.]

Hey, Aqua.

I hope you haven't had any trouble settling.

[Samus shrugs in response.]

Only as much as can be expected.

I'm glad to hear that. [Some people, she knew, had more trouble than others simply because of how different their worlds were compared to this one.

She looked at the practice dummy before back to Samus.]

I think a sparring partner would be more interesting than hitting a dummy, don't you think?

[That gave her pause. A sparring partner would be better, but she kind of doubted Aqua would be the one to provide that.

... then again, they'd said the same about her, back in the GF Army.]

[Her smile widened. She didn't really have the build of a fighter, but she could hold her own in a fight well enough.]

[Samus nodded, smirking a bit. Maybe this was just what she needed.]

[And with that, she tossed the towel back over to the side and assumed a fighting stance.]
