Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

Clare's looking around, but not exactly making an effort to approach anyone. She probably should have come back a week ago but... she didn't have the guts for it yet. She had too many unanswered questions on her mind she couldn't leap back into the schedule of training. She'd rather sleep in nice and cozy, with a good book and make herself breakfast at home.

Now that some of those questions were no longer at issue, she could return with something approaching where she was before. Even if the time away, her trip home, and Selendis's disappearance all meant Clare had sufficiently backslid. But, important thing on the agenda, she needed a partner for a lot of what she needed to figure out. Best to start there. No pressure.

Sasame was quick to walk over when he saw the girl on the side of his little area of the training grounds. She seemed to be hanging back a little. He wasn't sure if it was because she was shy or because she wasn't sure what to do, but either way he was eager to help!

"Hello, miss! Did you come to look for a partner?"

[Sasame's excited to matchmake help guide people toward finding their right partners! He's in the area ready to answer any questions people might have...or just generally chat with people.]

[ he's been wandering for a few minutes, interested in the familiar atmosphere of training but still more than confused by the mechanics of combat here. so it stands to reason that he'll just ask whoever looks like they know what they're doing! ]

Hi there Sasame. You look like you have your hands full here already. Any luck matching people up with partners so far?

[Sapphire's as eager as anyone to find someone she can get started on missions with. She's here sizing up the people in the area...but it's hard to judge what someone'll be like as a weapon, or if they're even a weapon to begin with. The most she can do is look for people who catch her eye and ask from there...

She's walking around confidently, upright and with her chin lifted (...partially because so many people are taller than her), wanting to give potential partners the right idea about her abilities at first glance.]

[Amaterasu yawned widely as she sat there, her fangs glinting faintly in the morning light. So, this was one of the new sections today and another opportunity to find a partner. She had met many potential partners, but they never came to an actual agreement. Maybe today would be that day and then she would be able to help with the other missions outside of Death City.]

[Hinata hung out around the edge of the area for Partner Finding, uncertain if she really could be social enough to approach anyone for such a reason.

Yet...that white wolf. She almost wants to call out 'Akamaru', but...it's not. Still, it's curious enough that she takes a few steps toward Amaterasu. Intent on at least getting a closer look..]

[Bakura is unimpressed with what he has seen so far. He had come here with the hope of finding a Weapon that he could use, but none of those people showed any sign of what he is hoping for - no hint of dangerous strength or unadulterated lust for battling, hell not even much of a duelist's aura! And those guys wanted to win a war? What a catastrophe, not that he cares.

Taking out a pair of ten-sided dice that had found their way into his pockets when he had been bored, he lets them fall on the ground. Leaning forward to look at the rolled numbers, he grins. A fumble.]

Well, well, would you look at that? Even the dice agree with me.

{Yako tilts her head to the side curiously, studying him just as much as the dice themselves. She hadn't known Bakura was a Meister. Since they might end up as coworkers, she figured she should at least see if they could resonate...even if she didn't hold much hope that he had any experience with a whip.}

[Jules hasn't realized it yet, but he's one of many who has mistaken this Bakura for his gentler self.

Incidentally, he also is completely lacking in lust for battling. C'est la vie.]

What are the dice for? Surely you aren't using them to find a partner?

[Another day, another time of pretending that he's interested in doing all this stuff that's oh-so-important in this city just to keep the goody-two-shoes out of his hair. Stuffing his hands into his pants' pockets, Leo walks straight up to the next-best person.]

As such: here he is. With the way he's dressed and carries himself (kimono, pipe, swords at his side, bandages over his face, deceptively casual stance), he grabs attention pretty easily.]

[Hades is not quite sure why he has come here again after the last failures. No mortal could wield him in the long run. Finding company would not last, or worse, turn out boring soon.

The god frowns. Standing like this in the bright sunlight feels oddly exposing today and the fur that covers his body can't fend off the cold of the air completely. Huffing lightly under his breath, he turns around to leave only to stop short. Turning, he directs a pointed look at whoever had the gall (or bad luck) to step on his long hair that has been dragging over the ground carelessly up until now.]

She didn't want to be on the sidelines forever, which meant that she needed a permanent partner. So, time to go find a weapon!

[While Nagi isn't exactly shy, she isn't one to just go up to others randomnly... at first anyhow. She's holding back and watching others. She likely wouldn't realize it herself but she is somewhat awkward still with the idea of Weapons. Demons she understands, wielding another as a weapon is a bit more difficult.]
