Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

As such: here he is. With the way he's dressed and carries himself (kimono, pipe, swords at his side, bandages over his face, deceptively casual stance), he grabs attention pretty easily.]

That's right! I don't have to introduce myself anymore so tell me who you are.

[This Date remembers nothing of his time previously so instead he's going to shrug.]

I don't remember any of this. Did I like you enough to talk to you back then?

I am a sword, but I'm looking more for people to go on missions with. 'Permanent' partnerships tend not to work with me.

Sounds like a challenge.

[Masamune shifts ever so slightly so that you can see that he's got six swords sheathed away in his "dragon tail".]

You may not be the sword I'm looking for. But I'll give it a try, sure.

[A very interesting one, to say the least. Takasugi takes the other's hand, and transforms immediately, becoming a matte black katana with a serrated blade.}

[She was going to leave for her mission soon, so she'd mostly stuck to light warm ups. She knew she wasn't exactly in top form as things were, and even if the mission was an easy one she didn't plan to exhaust herself before she even left Death City.

But it was hard to concentrate once she caught sight of a familiar (though at the same time unfamiliar) figure. Even though it was only a brief glimpse she knew which area he was in. She's not sure why she's even surprised. He had been looking for a Meister on the network, after all.

She knew she should probably just leave him be, but a part of her just can't do that.

So she abandoned what she'd been doing and headed over.]

[Awkward wasn't a word she associated often with their meetings before. It was a bit distressing how often it applied now. She was quiet for a moment before she decided it might be easier to talk if she wasn't looking at him, so she turned to face the training field instead.]

[It didn't go unnoticed, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to read too much into it. Wasn't sure if she was ready to let herself hope again.]

...if I knew I wouldn't be asking you. [It's kind of hard to know how he's been when he's been unwilling to approach her at all.]

Oh, so it was an honest question. [A dismissive shrug.] I am as you see.

[She has a feeling that might be the closest to a straight answer she'll get from him. She did give him a quick once over before looking away again.

At the very least he didn't seem that bad off. He probably looked better than she did at any rate.

It was amazing how easily recurring nightmares could turn someone off sleeping.]
