Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

Only one thing about training came easily to Clare, transformation. Once, after lots of testing (and notes, plenty of notes), Clare was able to transform easily from shape to shape, and with her notes the trip home didn't do much to hinder this one skill she had going for her. Full transformations were the easiest, and she warmed up by shifting from human to shield in place, then she practiced forming her shield on various limbs. She could form it on her back, but that isn't as combat useful as on her forearms.

The only thing she hadn't figured out (and at this point she figured it was simply impossible) was to form her gauntlet on different limbs. It was always her right and, and she couldn't make a grieve or a left handed gauntlet if she wanted. Still, the half-shields on any long bone in her limbs was useful. If she got two half shields close enough together they merged to make a full shield. But... her forearms get locked together like that, or her upper and lower arm if she bends the elbow.

Not sure how that's useful, needs more testing. She actually isn't very attentive right now, she probably won't notice someone walk up to her or read her notebook on all her training info thus far recorded.

Layton was concerned. Not because he was eager to fight but because he knew it would be important for him to change into Weapon form should the occasion arise that he is needed to.

Luke, his apprentice, had found it rather easy. He'd changed pretty much a day after arriving. But Layton had found it difficult, most possibly because he wasn't truly focused.

So his best bet was to get some help. The Professor was never one to refuse guidance where needed, so here he is!

He walks up to Clare, noticing how attentive she is. He tips the brim of his hat slightly and gives a little cough before speaking.

"Hello there."

Clare was a little confused, because she wasn't an instructor, that was Yuuri's job. She was just practicing somewhere nobody would accidentally throw a knife at her. Which could happen at the training fields where people spar, especially near Batch 4.

So nobody should be coming up to her, she's... just there? "Um... Hi. Am I in your way, I can go somewhere else." Clare quickly shook her right arm out, the white light of her transformation blazing over the limb before it return to her ordinary normal arm.

Hinata had seen Clare earlier, but decided against approaching. With some of the things that had been said on that 'holiday', she was almost unsure as to how to approach her. If it would be welcome knowing what she did because of forced honesty.

But now, with what she can only assume is notes, she can't not approach. The best way to deal with these situations is to make the first step, after all.

"Hello, Clare-san. Um, how are you today?"

Clare's heart jumped a little at Hinata's voice, the short list of people Clare wasn't sure she could exactly talk to after V-Day. Oddly Neji wasn't on that list somehow despite what she revealed to him. But... he needed to know, Hinata... never needed to know such details.

Clare knew this from her sister, cheer captains attracted certain looks Clare never needed attached to her sister.

"Less honest than yesterday, so much improved," Clare did her best to be confident, but the facade wasn't the best built, "But we can still hug." Humor wasn't Clare's best defense, but she was feeling pretty confident bad jokes were the least of her worries. Clare went over her checklist of items not to bring up unless Hinata wants to talk about them. Neji, her chest, compliments, avoid those and Clare was pretty certain she could get through this.

She hoped.

Sheena was in a dilemma. She wanted to help these people, and she knew she could as herself, but she was led to believe that as a Weapon, she could be stronger than her normal self--if paired with the right person--and be able to do more.

After watching the woman before her for a while, she came to a decision. Sheena approached her slowly, clearing her throat quietly to get her attention. "Excuse me, but, I've been told I'm a Weapon, but I have no idea what kind or how to change into it." She glanced away before speaking a phrase she always had trouble with.

"Could you help me?"

"Um, I can try," Clare was this close to wearing a pin that said 'Go bug Yuuri' and if her first day back continued as such she'd definitely have to work on something. She just wanted to practice, become an expert, then teach. Where are the local weapons anyway, can't one of them take this over? Still... this one seemed to have trouble asking for help, Clare can't turn her away if she might not ask again.

"First do you come from a place with phenomenal cosmic power. Where you possessed chakra, spirit, magic, arcane lore, Kryptonian physiology, direct manipulation over the elements, lycanthropic curses, nanite enriched blood, gamma radiation, ancient prophetic destinies, or demi-God lineage," Clare figured half the words she just spouted off would be completely meaningless to her student, but she hoped from covering as many bases as possible (some that weren't actually in Death City and were from fictions at home) the point would get across, "Because if you are then you should try to access whatever powers you lost, one will probably help you transform."

[Yuuri's standing there with a large friendly smile on his face. He's got his hands held behind his back and is waiting to help anyone who needs help learning to transform.]

[After Layton made the error of mistaking Clare for an instructor (how embarrassing...) he makes his way over to Yuuri, tips the brim of his hat in greeting and smiles]

Hello! Hopefully I'm not mistaken again. Are you the Weapon instructor?

[Yuuri's just finished helping someone else when he's approached. Blinking at the greeting, the young Maou smiled brightly.]

Hello! [His tone is cheerful and he turned to face the man.] Mmmhm that's me! I'm Yuuri, Shibuya Yuuri.

[So unsure. On one hand, she's pretty certain he's the instructor for this section. On the other, new person...and in person, too. Asking for help from strangers is hard.]

Um, hello..? You...are the instructor for this, right?

[He glanced over just after she approached. With a smile on his face, there was nothing but a friendly air around him.]

Mmhm I am, yeah. I'm Yuuri, Shibuya Yuuri.

[ Have a braided newbie, Yuuri, walking over with a friendly smile on his face. It seems he's decided that if he has to be here, he might as well see what this whole weapon thing is all about and see how he can help, if he can. ]

Hey, you're the guy i'm supposed to talk to about Weapon transformation, right?

[The friendly smile is returned with one just the same when he noticed the other boy.]

[Shindou's standing there watching others transform. He's a pretty fast learner himself and coupled with the fact that he also practices in his free time, he's been able to transform already--

only he isn't able to keep his form and transforms back right away. It's a little disappointing but he figures he'll take a short break before trying again.]

[Takuto is lurking around, not really wanting to join any of the activities, but refusing to go away and sit at home. And then... he spots the kid that is sure to brighten his day.]

So you're a weapon, huh, Shindou-kun.

[Shindou looks up in surprise. He didn't really expect anyone to talk to him but he smiles slightly when he sees Takuto.]

Good morning, Tsunashi-san. Yes, I am. I'm still trying to get used to transforming though.

[After watching the others for some time, Yuuichi has been trying very hard to transform. Though he really could use some help, he just can't get the hang of it!]

[Yuuri's just finished helping someone else with their transformation when he sees someone else in the area. Lightly jogging the distance between them, he approached with a friendly smile on his face as he waved.]

Ah, I would appreciate it. Transforming is a lot harder then it sounds!

[ooc: Sorry for replying so late! I ended up sleeping all day whoops.]

[While Lee could proudly call himself one who never gave up, that could often be a double-edged sword. While effort did indeed get Lee to where he wanted to go, it could often take time; and with someone as impatient as Lee, taking time was not always pleasant. Luckily, he is optimistic enough to not let any unpleasantness dampen his mood. Most of the time.

As it was, Lee was still struggling to keep up his Weapon form for periods of time longer than a few minutes. Unlike chakra, which he understood perfectly and could mold so easily, transformation seemed much touchier, easy to lose his grip on. Sometimes it might even have been his enthusiasm itself that kept him from retaining his Weapon form... But no matter! Lee will endeavor to keep training in this! At least for as long as he has possible Meisters willing to wield him in some practice exercises, that is.]

[Kariya is hanging a little awkwardly off to the side of the various Weapons grouped up to learn to transform. Legs crossed at the knees, arms behind his back, he is doing his best to send off the message I totally know how this goes and am ready to poof into a battleaxe or whatever.

It's not like his last drop-in for this sort of training ended without much real progress on his end of things. He'll get it down, this time!]
