Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[She tosses her head, wanting to get her communicator... buuut then opts to paw at the ground, clawing out a large 'M' for him.]

[Inspecting her a moment, then weighing something in his head.]

I suppose I'll have to shorten my blade a little... unless you think you can handle a sword?

[She snorts. No need to shorten your blade for her.]

[The gesture makes him chuckle a bit.]

Well, if you insist...

[Stepping back a bit, and in an odd flash of light, he's replaced by a katana with a matte black, serrated blade.]

[motherofthesun]

[Hm, well this certainly isn't a normal katana. The blades don't have teeth like that normally; at least, the ones she had seen some samurai use. Her pronged glaive on the other hand--- she's getting off track now.]

[Amaterasu steps closer and nudges it slowly onto her back where it's taken hold of and floats as usual.]

[...Well, this is fascinating. Time to test the resonance.

He reaches out tentatively, just for that anchor point that would allow them to click.]

[This feeling is strange, but it's normal for her.]

[Noticing his soul reaching out, her own reaches back slowly. Can't always approach things too quickly]

[When they do click, it... works, for the most part. Takasugi's only willing to give what he has to in order to maintain the resonance effectively.]

[The wolf shifts on her paws and rolls her shoulders. Hm... there's a slight twinge, but yes.]

Feels steady for the most part. How is it for you?

About the same. Have you done missions before?

Yes I have. I've done the most recent rescue mission and I also went to a place called Frankfurt.

[alastinglight]

Then perhaps we can go on a mission together. When are you available?

[motherofthesun]

I work at the clinic, but I'm sure they'll let me miss a day or two for a mission.

[alastinglight]

Shall I contact you when I find something, then?

Yes, you can.

[Oh, she wonders where this temporary partnership might lead to...]

Excellent. I'll shift out now.

[They appeared to resonate well enough, for the most part.]

[She sets him on the ground and moves back, sitting down to watch.]

[And when he did return to his own skin, he rolled his shoulders and stretched a bit before smiling down at Amaterasu.]
