Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

That is what you are here to decide! Where would be best for them? Would you like a small area, so people could come up to there for a hug? Or perhaps just a sign saying that entering the Training Grounds invites hugging, and then we could ninja-hug people!

The latter sounds like the best option! That way, everyone that comes gets hugs! Then we can't possibly miss anyone who needs a hug since we'll have hugged everyone!!

[Gai nods, grabbing a marker and cardboard as well as some stakes.] Here! Let us start making the signs so that everyone is properly warned! ...I hope that attendance does not drop because of this.

Hey, at least we're warning them! ...though maybe we should introduce a safety word for those who don't want hugs. Then they have no reason to stay away if that's all that's keeping them away!

...but secretly, they probably want them. Deep down inside. [He nods at his own words.] After all, hugs are very comforting, and they make people feel welcome and accepted! There's nothing bad about hugs unless someone is abusing their hug-giving powers for...uh...perverted stuff. And maybe evil. But I don't know how they could possibly be evil...

[Gai pauses to contemplate Maes' last statement. He shakes his head after a few moments.] I do not think that hugs could be used for evil. I cannot think of any ways it would be possible!

Ionno'. Uh. Lessee'... What type of thing reminds you of no hugs? It should be something like that. What's the opposite of a hug?

Right? I don't think it's possible either! Hugs are good things! So, if someone evil tried to use hugs for evil, he'd just be using them for good. He might think he's doing evil, but hugs can't be evil!

No hugs. Opposite of hugs. [He frowns at the marker as if it holds the answers.] Knees to the face? But that is not one word. Perhaps knees! We could use knees! They are not a part of hugging at all.

[Gai is triumphant now.] Any person trying to do evil with hugs will only be playing into our hands!

[ the Signless had been listening to the conversation go on for a little with. there's a slight smile on his face. what a silly, superfluous conversation. he kind of adores it, really. it's the sort of thing that would be best shared between good friends. so he steps up.

Nah, "no" isn't enough. They could be saying "no" to...someone else, or just to the fact that I'm around, hehehe. It wouldn't be clear enough! And besides, "no" could just be a denial of the fact they actually want a hug! I mean...my daughter used to say it all the time, but I know she loves them.

Knees? Knees... Kneeeesss... [He rubs his chin in thought.] But can't you hug your knees? How about ankles? That's completely unrelated, right? You can't hug an ankle...or can you? That's not really the opposite of a hug. Hrmm... Elbows to the face? Is that close? Can you hug an elbow?

Hello! Welcome to Morning Training! It is good to see you made it! Karkat used to teach. Perhaps he will again sometime!

[Considering the question, Gai wrapped one arm around his other.]

Yes. You can hug an elbow. Perhaps Kishin. No one would think of hugs and Kishin at the same time!

Hahaha! Well, we decided to give people that come to Morning Training hugs! Because it's spreads love and joy and happiness! So we were making signs to tell people about it and warn them so they don't freak out! We're considering letting them use a safe word in case that don't want to be hugged, since, you know, some people don't want to be touched at all and stuff. Coming up with one is harder than I thought though...
