Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[Keroro's main purpose for waking up so early in the morning when he could have been curled up in his nice warm bed was Eve. He just didn't feel that it was right as a Weapon and as a parent-figure for him to have Eve go to training all by herself.

He's not doing much in the way of training, and is actually walking around looking for a nice shady place to sit with a blanket and thermos tucked under one arm. You know you want to come and bother a frog alien that tells everyone he's two-feet tall (when in reality he is actually not quite that.)]

[Well, here's someone she hasn't seen in a while. Keroro looks like he's distracted heading over to that shady spot with that thermos and blanket. She's slowly going to sneak up on him]

[Keroro keeps walking till he bumps into someone's leg. He turns around to apologize--]

Ah, sorry, de-

[--Then he catches sight of Amaterasu and freezes.]

[She grins down at him... and then lays on top of him.]

[Oof. Keroro struggles because DOG before he remembers that this is Amaterasu. He isn't supposed to be scared. She's not really a dog. She's a wolf. And she also ambushed him bef- Oh, okay, maybe he shouldn't have been remembering that part.]

G-G-G-G-Good morning, de arimasu.

[motherofthesun]

[She stares at him, tilting her head this way and that.]

Arf!

[Good morning to you too, Keroro.]

Kero...I hope that meant good morning, de arimasu.

[And not something like "Hello, breakfast!"]

[If that didn't get her message across, she's going to give him one long lick.]

[He knows that Pekoponians dogs (supposedly) lick you when they're being friendly, at least.

Even if he wasn't sure if that applied to goddesses that were masquerading as wolves.]

K-Kero....C-Can I get up now, de arimasu....?

[Oh, look, what a familiar green frog sitting there! Yugo swings by, plops himself down right next to him with some breakfast leftovers. (He just really loves eating, all right?)]

Hey! Are you having a picnic?

Ah, Yugo-dono. Good morning, de arimasu! I'm here supervising my partner, de arimasu.

[He waves his cup in the direction of a blonde girl in the Partner Training area.]

I see! Aren't you going train with her?

W-Well, I'll train later, de arimasu.

[No, he won't.]

Cool! Maybe we could spar together then!

[there's that pikopikopikopiko sound again.]

[mitsuba follows after the (now green!) frog, and upon being at certain distance from the creature, she speaks.]

Good morning Pikopiko-san! Are you familiar with Giroro-san? You both make a curious sound when you walk.

[He wouldn't have noticed the sound he's making while walking unless it was pointed out because he is just so used to it.]

Giroro is my subordinate, but are you sure you're not mistaking me for someone else, de arimasu? My name isn't Pikopiko-san, it's Keroro.

[And you look familiar...He suddenly worries that Mitsuba is going to insist on playing a game of live-action Frogger, for some reason.]

Pikopiko so happens to be the sound you make when you walk. It is really cute.

[she leans over, bending over her knees, to be at eye level with him and leave behind how the height difference could be intimidating for the cute frog.]

Keroro-san, it's really nice to meet you! My name is Mitsuba.

[He isn't all that intimidated. Probably because he's already used to talking to people that are much taller than he is. It's nice though that he doesn't have to look up so far to talk to Mitsuba.]

It's nice to meet you too, Mitsuba-dono, but all Keronians make this sound when they walk, de arimasu. Even Giroro makes that sound, de arimasu.

[even the 'de arimasu' is extremely adorable! she giggles behind a hand, and gently pats his green head.]

Is Keronians what you are called? Not froggies?

[He has the feeling that he's being treated like a little kid...but can't think of a polite way to tell Mitsuba this.]

We're called Keronians because the planet we're from is called Keron, de arimasu. Some people do call us frogs though, because we kind of resemble them, de arimasu.

[the keron planet, huh. definitely one of the cuter amanto she's seen, mind.]

You kind of do! You said Giroro-san is your subordinate. Do you happen to be a space captain? Your green skin makes you seem really authoritative and level-headed, de arimasu! [the 'de arimasu' she intones with a playful tone, a bit higher pitched than her usual tone. also, good thing she can't coat nice words with malice--so she genuinely believes what she is saying.]
