Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

Thriving beyond battle in the middle of a war? Hardly. Their intent is to train soldiers, not individuals who have other concerns.

Not every skill can be taught in a class, that's all.

[He's attempting to be polite about it, but having to explain in such a blunt fashion is beginning to get on his nerves.]

Gaining full knowledge of a situation, getting to know people who will be able to assist you, keeping yourself away from combat... they're skills gained only by living through times when one needs them.

Still, what you are saying here sounds quite a bit pretentious, don't you think? Things like that, nobody has to take their time teaching those things to anybody. [He'd say a lot more, but that wouldn't be like the person he still halfway pretends to be.]

But I wouldn't want to learn it from anything but myself and my own experiences. Ultimately, that's my point.
