Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[At his customary position: camping out on a makeshift bench under one of the trees, smoking, monitoring his people.]

[He had been taking a morning walk to stretch his legs since he was finally able to stand without any trouble. Since there was a commotion for Morning Training, he somehow found himself nearby, though he had no real interest in joining in any activities. It was then that he spotted Roy from a distance.

He makes his way over silently and snatches the cigarette out of Roy's hand.]

Kids shouldn't be smoking, Mustang. Hehe...

[Hughes takes a drag himself before flopping down in the seat next to Roy. He snorts softly and sticks out his tongue teasingly as he waves the cigarette in Roy's direction.]

Tastes like shit. What are these, bargain bin cigarettes?

Glaring at you now.

Then snatching it back.]

You could have just asked.

Hahaha, me? Naw, I don't need a cigarette. As much as I miss the taste, they're bad for you, y'know.

[He pauses.]

And I'll bet I could still outrun you! [Not that he was not generally more athletic than Roy anyway.] You shouldn't rely on those, though. Seriously. Someday, you'll choke to death on one of them and think, "well, fuck, I figured it'd be Havoc first," hahahaha.

I am not going to choke to death on them, and I am not relying on them too much.

Uh huh. And my nose must be lying then, since you smell like cigarette smoke. You can try washing it out, but it doesn't come out that easily, y'know. When you smoke excessively, anyway.

[He snatches the cigarette back and takes another drag.] Hm. You should quit.

[She arrives a few minutes early, sits beside him wordlessly. He'll address her when he's ready.]

[And along comes Sheena, taking a break from her training, and sitting on a matching makeshift bench to lean her head against the tree, unaware of Roy's presence, until the smoke tickles her nose.]

It's okay. [Waves the smoke away.] I just wasn't expecting it.

[Looks over at him and sees his expression.]

I just arrived here.

I see. What brings you here? We tend to be the boring side of the training field, to my understanding.

Who told you that? Training is training, and each type requires it's own concentration.

I'm taking a break from my own training.

[Waves towards the dummies.]

I see. [Smiling a bit, looking at the other.] I'm Roy Mustang, by the way. Leader of this ragtag bunch.

[It's been a couple days since the embarrassing Hug-Incident, but Ed's still reluctant to approach Roy, lest he decide to remind him of it. Still, there's a chance Roy will let it go.

He makes his way over there and leans heavily against the tree Roy's underneath, crossing his arms over his chest.]
