Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

Have one guy in a kimono, either sitting on the grass some distance away from the general training area (where he can get the best view of everything) or leaning against a tree. Either way, he's got a pipe and he's smoking it.

He also has bandages over one eye. How did THAT happen?]

Irritated, but it is nothing that I'm not already used to. Yourself?

Same. It's quite hard to be the only one from my species in a place like this. [crawling with humans]

You must get a lot of annoying questions from people.

And I am called all sorts of things as well. [she shakes her head]

Does that bother you, though? I mean, the comments are just coming from humans.

[You are a human yourself.

Demona just tilts her head] Their constant questioning bothers me. Humans have the need to name everything; nothing is real to you until you've named it, given it limits.

It does make us feel more stable. Some of us, anyway.

Most of you. [Demona wraps her wings around her shoulders] I suppose that's why humans will never understand what a Gargoyle is, even if you constantly ask.

I admit to not knowing myself, but I would rather that you show me. I'll learn the rest on my own, and you're free to correct me when I'm wrong.

[oh, hey. it's the man with the colourful kimono from last time, casually having a smoke. following megumi's advice to keep from smoke and dust, mitsuba only approaches him with the intention of keeping a distance between themselves.]

[nods at his response.]

[and since she's already here--] I wanted to apologise for my discourteous behaviour from the other day.

Were you victimized by the chocolate?

I suppose I was. I don't usually hug strangers without warning.

Then it does not matter.

[Turning back to the scenery now.]

You said you knew my brother? [walks around him, careful of the smoke] What... is your name?

There is no danger in a name, is there?
