[Open] Morning Training! - February 16th

Time: 5am to 10am

Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

Medics (And First Aid Training): Training run by Naomi Kimishima, also a place for medics to gather and talk. (First Aid Training may need to be handwaved, player is on hiatus.)

[It's been a couple days since the embarrassing Hug-Incident, but Ed's still reluctant to approach Roy, lest he decide to remind him of it. Still, there's a chance Roy will let it go.

He makes his way over there and leans heavily against the tree Roy's underneath, crossing his arms over his chest.]

For the most part, yes. Everything good on your end?

Yeah, nothing interesting to note. Just checking out the new fighters here, seeing who's any good.

Pretty much everyone is on the Watch. You should try them all on for size.

[This makes him grin a little.]

I'll do it. I doubt many of them would give me very much trouble.

Well, whatever you don't have in skill you certainly have in spirit, so~

Hey! [Bristling a bit.] I have plenty in skills, you know that first hand!

[Chuckles. It's so easy to get a rise out of you.]

And you only won that time because you cheated! [Have his most childish tone.]

You're a really sore loser, you know that?

You heard me, you cheated!! Without your alchemy, I would have won!

'Would have' is such a vague term...

I had you, if you didn't have your flames. I could beat you here, in any case. [Huff puff.]

If I was not so confident in my skills, I'd be inclined to defend my honor right about now.

That sounds like the sort of thing someone who's scared to lose would say.

Or someone who has nothing left to prove.

[That does it. They're not home where he could get his license revoked for attacking a higher officer, and he doubts Roy would kick him off the Watch. Without another word, Ed goes for Roy, trying to punch him in his smug face (because that's what he likes to do best).]

[The snap is expected: as such, he's ready. It does not take too much effort to side-step the blow and swing right into Ed's space, ready to land a counter punch of his own right in the gut.

He HAS gotten better, better than he was back home.]

[He gets hit with the punch, but stumbles back to avoid the full force of it, seeing Roy's movements as he's side-stepped. Rolling to the side, he's up again quickly, keeping low-down as he swings his in a low kick at Roy's legs.]

[The kick connects, but it's not enough to floor him. Roy swings out of the way, falling into stance with a smile.

This was rather nice.]

[Ed backs up a bit too, bringing one hand up in a ready-stance, unable to keep the smirk from his face.]
