Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[Kariya turns his head and frowns at the approaching young man for an instant -- before flashing right to a smile. This is the one he'd bumped into last time he'd tried this, and it'd be especially awkward to look all brooding with him around.]

[Kariya turns to face towards the other boy, then clenches his eyes shut. The last time around, Yuuri'd said to concentrate on something important, something he'd want to protect...and, honestly? His mind had gone blank. He wanted to go home, not to protect anything. Least of all anything in Death City.

This time, he thinks of his teammates, the ones that BREW has dragged in along with him. He tries to clear his mind to focus on them, and, for an instant, there's the strangest, heated feeling in his head and the pit of his stomach . It's weird. He winces in surprise...

And peeks one eye open, concentration broken.]

...Ta-da?

[Yuuri watched on silently as Kariya tried to attempt transforming. There were many who never got it the first time around, and that was more than fine! He hadn't transformed the first few times when he'd first started.

He was distracted by a familiar sense on the air, but it seemed to disappear when he sighted one of the other boy's eyes opening.]

I think that you were really close! Were you feeling anything before you opened your eye?

I don't know.

[Kariya hefts an awkward shrug. He had thought he'd felt something, but after the fact, with him still all human-shaped, it's hard to say how much was just his imagination being stupid.]

I guess it felt...warm and strange, sort of? I don't know what to pay attention for.
