Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

It's alright. [A partial lie, really. He was trying, but he wasn't going to continue to pressure her into contact with him if she preferred to keep her distance. Neji bowed shortly]

So long as I am not actively engaged with another, I am available. In the meantime, I will leave you to your training.

[She hesitates for a second longer, torn between her own silly embarrassment and her want to spend more time with him.

The latter wins out as she reaches out toward him.]

Then, if... If you don't mind. I... [And then her gumption fails her, and her hand falls.] Um, I wouldn't mind some help..

[If he's honest with himself, he's relieved and turned back to her with a nod]

Then if you'll follow me, Hinata-sama.

[He leads her back to the training dummy and points out the pressure and vital point indicators]

Jyuuken has a close connection with them and we're already suited to striking with accuracy, so it isn't too difficult to relearn. The main difference is an increased application of force, and in order to achieve that, more than just our fingertips are necessary to achieve the desired result.

[She follows after him, with just a nod. It's hard to get some of the things she heard out of her head, but...she needed to. Training. That should be a good way to get back to normal.]

So...it is basically relearning Jyuuken through the use of the entire hand? That seems like it may be easy enough to do..

More or less. It's the same principles with a different application. Even without the Byakugan, you shouldn't have too much difficulty memorizing just where to strike.

It does however, hamper the flow of our movements where the extra concentration of force is required, and places more of a focus on temporary holds as a result. It'll take some adapting, but I'm sure you'll manage well.

What about...um. Have you found a way to adapt the movements so the flow and fluidity of them is not hindered much? [Because it seemed like Neji had down the other parts. Holds, while weird, are something she can work with.]

I've been working on it with steady progress. In the end, I believe it comes down to practice, however, so for the moment this will work.

[hyuuga]

[She nods, a determined gleam in her eyes. This is a goal she can work toward, a goal she needs to.]

It always comes down to practice, it seems. Maybe... [Even with her determination to get stronger, it was still a bit awkward to try and make this offer.] Maybe...we could work on it together, sometime?

[Neji pauses to look at her, and blinks with a slow nod]

I'd appreciate your assistance, Hinata-sama.

All right. [She smiles, clasping her hands in front of her chest. Despite her own strange feelings, she is so happy.]

I--...um, only if you really want to, though.

It's not a bad idea at all, Hinata-sama. I'm certain that with your assistance, we'll be able to complete Jyuuken's adaptation.

We'll be able to be even more helpful, then... [And also, something that has been bothering her...]

And I...I never realized before how much we have relied on chakra for fighting. It's a good learning experience.

It can certainly be frustrating.. But I'm sure we'll manage well enough.
