Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

So you were a magic user or was in just in the cards?

It's hard to explain. I couldn't cast spells, but I was the only one who could activate the magic in the cards. My Summons were the ones who could use magic in battle.

So you mostly had summoner powers and a few other skills. Got it.

I knew a summoner but she's not here in the city anymore.

[Well, when he puts it that way... She can't help but smile anyway at his comment.]

Yeah, some of those took me a while to master, though. But you know, my grandpa never did tell me how he knew I was a summoner.

[Blinks.]

She's gone? I was told there was another one still here...

[Slightly depressed now.]

Well, it might be a summoner that I don't know about. So that other person could still be here.

I didn't think about that. The summoner you knew--was she one before she came here or was that part of her abilities?

She was one before she came here. Sometimes people have abilities that can reflect that. I think she could call her partner to her side even if they were far apart.

So, she kept part of her summoning abilities...[Sheena's almost speaking to herself at this point.] I wonder if summoning will be a part of mine.

You know, that's a pretty handy ability for anyone to have--to be able to call your partner when you need them.

Might be annoying for the partner if they were in the middle of something. Like bathing.

I never thought of that. But I know someone who probably wouldn't be bothered by that at all.

Yeah, no kidding. It was bad enough when someone tried to peek in on me in the shower--full-on naked summoning would not be a good idea.
