Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[And now he was looking off, trying to find some good targets. He smiled at her briefly, and extended his hand.

Time to go, Rhode Kamelot.]

[ She gives him a little pout, but she reaches out and slips her fingers into his palm as she changes, willing herself right into his hand. ]

Why are you so interested in doing this now? We've only done it on monsters before.

[And he's already reaching out with his soul, going first for the anchor of their resonance, then curling up around Rhode as he would if they were actually hugging.]

[ Well, he's being awfully persistent today. She rather likes it, though- Getting all this attention, when she's usually the one cuddling up against his soul. It certainly seems to cure her bratty mood. She's settling into him with a soft sigh of contentment, matching her wavelength to his own. ]

[He fixes his gaze on a nearby student from Shibusen.]

See if you can drive that one up the wall.

They're going to think some kind of Madness is in the city again.

[ She's mumbling, but she reaches for that power, focusing on building that familiar cloud of nightmares and fear before-- Ah, wait. She couldn't just push it out every direction like she did on their normal missions.

She took a moment to consider this, then tentatively attempted to focus the attack, pushing it straight toward their target. ]

[...And the results were instantaneous: the boy freezing as if ice had encased his form, his expression breaking into something hideous and full of horror, his body recoiling from the training dummy he had been beating on as if it had grown snakes.]

Good. [Mukuro's voice was a satisfied purr against Rhode's soul.] Now try to let off before he starts screaming.

[ She watched the entire scene with a cold, detached curiosity, but Mukuro's voice distracted her from her observations. The instant he said to let off, it all went blank- No small vibrations, no trail of darkness toward their target. Just Rhode's soul, that little cloud weaving its way through her discarnate little fingers as if it were playing with her. ]

... I wish Kuroro were still here. Perhaps he'd let us test it on him and tell us exactly what they feel and see when we do it.

[Chuckling, and looking around for something else to victimize.]

[ She forgets how in tune they are, sometimes; a little thrill runs over her soul when she thinks of the man, similar to when she gets a present or something else nice. ]

[ She's so accustomed to that sort of madness in her own Family- and in herself, really- that it doesn't seem to be of any consequence. ]

[ She's silent for a moment, thinking about that. ]

... But I don't think anyone else we know would still like us if we used them.

Shall I ask him just in case, then?

[ Still hesitating, now that he's made her think about it. She's not that strong, is she? Not enough to drive someone mad. That's for Witches, not Weapons. ]

... If you think it would be alright.

Alternatively, we could hold out for Kuroro. I have a strong feeling that he'll come back.

[ The mention of Kuroro makes Rhode oddly mad- No, upset was more accurate a word. She froze up, crackling with a bitter anger. ]

I'm not holding out for someone. They aren't coming back after this long.

[He instantly moved to sooth her with his own soul, in an assurance that he had meant no harm with the comment whatsoever.

[ She has a few abandonment issues, especially in this world; She keeps her ice up for a few moments, but then she begins to let it go, She eases back into him, though it's a bit grudgingly. [

Sephiroth and Cloud come to mind, but I doubt Sephiroth would be pleased. Cloud will also be unaffected.

[ She huffs, settling back into their resonance and getting comfortable. ]

[ She makes a small noise of agreement, turning her attention to his chosen target. ]
