[Open] Morning Training! - February 16th

Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[Leo watches him for a while, debating with himself whether to go closer and mess with the human or not. Theoretically he doesn't need any new trouble with any of the humans and Shibusen's ass-kissers. Practically he was feeling bored and kind of listless, a thing that's cured best by picking a fight that would get his blood boiling again for a little while. and it's not like they would be killing each other

Sauntering over, he crouches down provokingly close next to Lee's head.]

Three-hundred-seventy-four. Two-hundred-twenty-two. Four. Thirteen. Three-hundred-sixty-one.

[The old "name off random numbers until he loses his count" technique is one that Lee was once subjected to a lot as a child. He screws his eyes shut in an attempt to block out the other's voice and focus.]

Three-hundred-eighty! Three-hundred-eighty-one! Three-hundred-eighty-thirteen! Thirty-three... eight... [Lee lets out a disgruntled growl and his free hand shoots out, palm held up straight in an attempt to get Leo to back away.]

Please do not count-off! I still have about four hundred and twenty push-ups and I do not like to lose count!

[lionborn]

Whoa! [He jumps back a little at the sudden move, but quickly scoots closer again. Hearing the number of how many more push-ups Lee has planned, he whistles.]

Why eight hundred?

It is a nice, even number! And it is more than the six hundred squats I did before this! And less than the one thousand sit-ups I will do after this!

[He says this all in absolute seriousness. Then he switches his arms and begins his push-ups again, but he doesn't resume counting out loud. Instead he glances back up at the guy who interrupted him.]

... You are Leo-san, correct?

[Well, that's a logic that he can't argue against.]

That's my name. What about it?

I remember you from before! [Lee looks pretty proud of himself.]

You did not believe I was a beast like I said I am!

[lionborn]

Hurra. [Don't mind his sarcasm, Lee. Leo just thinks that he's pretty hard to miss being the only black Half with blond hair and big cat-marking around. ..Not like that kept humans from forgetting that he has a name before, though.]

Yep, I remember. Ya still don't look like one to me.

Then that must be remedied! [Lee jumps to his feet with just as much suddenness of movement as before, taking up his offensive stance, one hand held up before him and the other tucked behind his back.

He quirks a smile.] Shall I show you why I am the Green Beast of Konoha?

[lionborn]

[Unlike Lee Leo remained crouching right where he was and is now giving him an amused look.]

Believe me, ya don't. No matter how trained, no human ever picks a brawl with a Half and walks out of it with all their bones still intact.

A half...? [Lee frowns, but smiles again.]

But I doubt you have ever come across one of the proud shinobi of Konoha! I have full confidence that my bones will remain secure where they are!

[lionborn]

Half. It's a name, for the kind of person I am. [He stands up and flashes him a toothy smirk as he points at the 'marks' on his face.] See those stripes? They're the proof than I'm an S class.

[Or maybe an A one, on the rarity scale of his kind. Most domestic animals were just easier to get than a lioness. What this means is that he's like any feline-type Half, just with maxed out strength.]

An S class? [Sounded like a mission. Or a rank of danger. But Lee wasn't intimidated.]

I see! Then you should be a worthy opponent in battle. [Lee grins with confidence.] Would you care for a spar?

[lionborn]

Seriously? [He can't decide whether this one is just stupid and cocky or actually skilled enough to back up this claims.] Well, I guess I don't mind if you don't mind having a couple of bones broken by the end of it.

[awokentospring]

[Lee's grin only widens, giving him an even goofier look. But don't be fooled, Leo. If you're not careful he'll stomp you.]

[Lee stands with his feet together, one hand moving before him and held up while his other arm curves around his back tightly.]
