Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

A slash here. A thrust there. Hmm two centimeters to the left would've been more effective. He tried the attack once more with greater speed and accuracy. There we go. Much better.]

[Meanwhile, Fuuka wasn't too sure if she should speak up. After all, he was paying so much attention to his training so it didn't seem right for her to bother him like that. Still, she wanted to watch some more. ...Was that creepy?]

[Finally pleased by his own movements, he turned to look at his observer. If memory served correctly, this girl was Colette's partner. They hadn't really spoken before, however.]

Ah...I'm sorry, I was just looking at [how awesome you were? ...Yeahhh] how focused you were on your training and um...I guess I found myself just staring.

Skill comes with experience. [The implication being she could become just as skilled. He pauses and glances down at the weapon in his hand.] Though my technique has dulled somewhat from lack of practice with the weapon.

Typically a broadsword, on rarer occasions a dagger.

Um...can I ask how long it took you to manage them? [She wants to learn too!]

I've had instruction with swords since my youth and then more extensive training with upon gaining acceptance into a knight academy.

R-Really?

That's pretty cool! It must have been pretty difficult to become a knight at the academy! [So awessommee] I'm not sure I would have been able to handle it!

[He'd pretty much gotten automatic entry thanks to the family name, but no need to say that.]

Anything can be done so long as one puts forth enough dedication and determination behind whatever they seek to accomplish.

Um can I ask you something? Do you believe that it is difficult to use a sword?

The answer to that varies depending on certain factors such as current physical fitness and willingness to learn. [He raises an eyebrow at her.] You're interested in learning?

Kind of? I was hoping to learn because I can't really protect myself with my weapon form so...

[Maybe it's Mithos' influence, maybe it's her desire to learn, or maybe it's the fact teaching isn't entirely unpleasant, but something influences his next words to her.]
