Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[He doesn't mind, because the last time he'd put his training into practice, it had been used to break Gai down. So while he's relieved to part from the wooden post with his mentor's ghost shadowed over it, guilt nags at him as he turns to greet his look-a-like teammate.

Neji wonders how Lee might take that bit of information if he ever told him]

Good morning, Lee. How is your training going?

[Neji is usually quite reserved but there is something a little off about just how easily Neji turns away from the practice dummy. Lee doesn't let his worry show, though his eyes remain wide and observant.]

It has been moving along excellently! There are a great many people to practice with! Thank you for asking, Neji!

However! [Lee pauses dramatically.] I must admit, most do not have a great amount of stamina. It is unfortunate because it cuts our spars short.

[Lee's always had a ridiculous amount of energy, and so Neji's not surprised that others fall short in comparison]

Even I don't match it on your best days, Lee.

But you are the best match I have ever had, Neji! [Lee smiles, eyes lighting up.]

And speaking of matches, we should spar!

[He knows that to be true, and nods, itching to throw himself against someone he doesn't have to watch out for much.

Neji tosses his hair back and settles back in Jyuuken's traditional stance] Come at me when you're ready.

[A great swell of excitement rockets through Lee's veins at the quick response to his challenge, but he manages to school his expression into something slightly more serious than a beaming grin.]

I was born ready, Neji!

[And with that, Lee zigzagged forward, calling forth his extreme speed. It was a typical warm-up tactic he used, circling his opponent and throwing glancing punches and kicks to distract them, expecting parries and blocks. It was his way of wearing the out, getting them dizzy and panting, then striking with a greater force once he spotted an opening.

Neji would be familiar with this tactic, but Lee was curious just how well Neji could keep up after a long time of not having Lee to spar against regularly. Today's match was going to be interesting.]
