Time: 5am to 10am

Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

He was... frustrated and disapproving of the actions that were taken.

[ He doesn't say Kratos was outright angry because he's generally more composed than that. ]

[The admission makes his smile grow a touch wider.]

..and what is your opinion of what happened?

[ Mithos on the other hand frowns at the God before turning around and facing the dummy again. ]

... It's something I never want to happen again.

[There is a soft huff from him that sounds almost approving.]

Do you plan on becoming stronger by doing that. ['That' being fighting the dummy.]

[ Mithos' grip on the sword tightens. ]

This... and anything else I can do to get stronger.

[He inclines his head thoughtfully.]

What ..would you say is your greatest weakness?

[ Mithos took the time to think of an answer to this. His biggest weakness... he knows of his weaknesses and he tries his best not to allow them to get to him. He had a promise to keep after all. Finally, he says only two words: ]

... My heart.

Your heart...

[He repeats before he nods towards Mithos practice weapon.]

You won't be able to make your heart stronger with just that.

[ Mithos looks down at the practice sword. ]

... I know. I can practice all I want and become a great swordsman but.. it won't help my heart.

[He remains silent for a while, considering what to say next. It is difficult for him to find the right words for this kind of topic, since he knows the inner workings of a human heart very well, yet not at all.]

Strength of the heart is one of the greatest strengths to possess, in many situations. I sometimes attempt to teach it, when I find somebody interesting.

..But more often than not I tear down what I mean to build up.

[ The silence was... odd. Considering the time he's spent before with Hades this wasn't something that happened often. If at all. What Hades had said after the strength of a heart was even more odd, as well as curious. ]

... The heart is a hard thing to teach. For anyone.

Especially for somebody who does not have one?

[ So Gods don't have hearts. Mithos oddly doesn't find it surprising and yet... ]

... You can't teach someone a double-edged sword if you can't maintain one yourself. And if you don't have one... it's even more difficult.

[He lets out a little chuckle at the fact that his words seem to have been taken too literal this time.]

It's not quite like that. An experienced tamer can teach a parentless whelp how to hunt for itself even though they are not of the same species. My guidance is similar; I can speak of what I have observed even when I can't move or feel like you.

[ He then gives this a small thought ]

If you do more harm than good then... what does that say about your observations?

That I like to believe in peoples more than they believe in themselves and that blindly putting your trust in me is a foolish thing to do.

[ Well... Mithos isn't foolish to blinding put his trust in you. That's a good thing, right? ]

Many people put their beliefs in Gods. To blinding put their trust in you... it's not surprising.

[Is that a good thing when it still made him decide to walk Hades' path blindly? The god smiles.]

Nor is it very intelligent. We do not care about anybody's prayers.

[ Mrg. He had his reasons. Luckily, now that he has a sword, that mistake won't happen again. ]

Then what do you suggest? For people to not believe in you?

For people to find their own truth. I can assist with that, but whatever they find will be up to them. It is often dangerous.

... The truth is often what someone does not want to hear. Especially when it shatters their beliefs.
