Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[Well, not always, but mostly. Her tail always wags when she's happy. Her tongue hangs out as she grins again.]

[ She giggles. Aw, Ammy, she thinks you're cute. Then her eyes wander over to the shield and nearby sword and whip. ]

Do you know how to use those?

[She glances back at the weapons, but then turns back and nods.]

[ A head tilt, curious... ]

Can you show me what you can do?

[motherofthesun]

[Head tilt back and she nods. Well, which one first?]

Oh... hm... [ It doesn't take her long to understand what Ammy is asking for. ] How about the sword?

[motherofthesun]

[She nods and trots over to the sword. She picks it up with her mouth, but then tosses it up and onto her back where it floats.]

Oh! [ Sophie lets out a small surprised gasp. That's pretty neat. ] How is it floating there?

[motherofthesun]

[Ehh... that's a little hard to explain. Ammy can only look back and give her a blank face expression.]

[blossomgale]

[ Have a blank look in return as she patiently waits for an answer. But after waiting awhile... ]

Oh. It's impossible to say, isn't it? Hm...

[ She looks around and points at the nearest practice dummy. ]

Can you attack with it?

[motherofthesun]

[She snorts. Of course she can... do you want her to right now?]

[ Nods. She wants to see! ] Show me?

[motherofthesun]

[Well okay. She barks once! Stand back!]

[blossomgale]

...oh. Um... [ She backs up, moving to stand in a safer vicinity. ]

[motherofthesun]

[Amaterasu nods, that's right. She moves closer to the dummy, slowly lowering herself to the ground and taking an aggressive stance. Soon enough, she's before the dummy, shoulders hunched forward and fangs bared. Suddenly, the white wolf pounced with a snarl, dashing past the dummy, training sword striking the side as she passes. Immediately, she turns on her paws and bolts again, performing several swift strikes across the dummy, ending with a fourth powerful slash. She flips backwards, still growling.]

[ Meanwhile, Sophie watches Amaterasu's display of skill with awe, impressed with the movement and the use of the sword. After the series of slashes, she claps her hands together to give Amaterasu a little round of applause. ]

That's amazing, Ammy!

[motherofthesun]

[Her ears rise at Sophie's voice and her tail resumes a wag. The growling is gone and she just appears very proud with herself.]

[ She smiles and takes that wagging as a cue that she can safely step back within the wolf's vicinity. ]

Ammy... [ Asking a bit shyly. ] Is it okay for me to pet you?

[motherofthesun]

[... Are you really asking to pet her? Asking a god such a question! HOW DARE--!]

[You take this long. She nods quickly, her tail wagging harder.]

[ Oops, she has no idea you're a god. She crouches down to Amaterasu's level and petting ensues! ]

Great job, Ammy.

[Very few people can understand that so she just goes along with the fluffy deception]

[She whines and nuzzles Sophie's hands.]
