[Open] Morning Training! - February 16th

Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[[Nods]] Got it! [[Opens the chamber of the gun to empty out the bullets before closing it again and tucking it into the holder on his belt. Something that says a lot about his confidence level right there.]]

Aa-- I just realized, I never introduced myself. Bakura Ryou, nice to meet you. [[smiles, bowing just a touch]]

Shirogane Naoto. The pleasure's all mine, Bakura-san.

[[Starts very carefully flexing his hands in unison as he speaks. It would look almost like a nervous fidget, except that it was slow and even.]] So you're the expert with this sort of thing here? For the training I mean?

[pishirogane]

Not really. I still have a few things to learn myself, but I have a good knowledge of guns compared to most.

[shiromadoushi]

[[a small nod]] Which is really helpful! This sort of thing... I never would have even thought to learn something like this back home.

[pishirogane]

Of course. It wouldn't be necessary.

[shiromadoushi]

So is this something you learned here, then?

[pishirogane]

No. I learned this back home.

[shiromadoushi]

Oh...

[[Well he's confused now]]

...there was something back there that there was a need? Or just a hobby?

[pishirogane]

I'm a private detective. It was necessary.

[Considering Naoto's very short.]

[shiromadoushi]

Oh! Sorry! [[looking so embarrassed there]] I'd thought you were my age and still in school... sorry! [[That'd be the 2nd person who had surprised him by having that profession while looking (or being!) his age...]]

I am in school. I had just finished my first year of high school before BREW brought me here.

[shiromadoushi]

You mean you could do that while being in school...?! [[Eyes wide]] That's amazing....!

[pishirogane]

I'm a private detective, not a precinct detective.

[shiromadoushi]

Wouldn't that be more work? Since it would be just you?

[pishirogane]

We're only called for cases the police are unable solve themselves. I'm not working all the time and there are certain cases we do not accept.

[shiromadoushi]

Aaa, I guess that makes sense! It still has to be hard, doing both at once!

[pishirogane]

It's not. Now then, it's time to resume practice.

[shiromadoushi]

Aaa-- right! [[Time to very carefully reload the gun. He's far more practiced with this part than with the actual shooting of it, but not so practiced as to do it with any speed. It's pretty clear he does know just how dangerous this thing can be if not handled right]]

[pishirogane]

[Naoto can wait for him. She'll go training herself later.]

[shiromadoushi]

[[With his left arm almost limp at his side, he's able to brace better than trying to use it. He's getting a little closer to the center of the target with each shot, taking his time, trying to use the previous shot adjust for his next. Again, he only fires half the chamber, stopping after to flex his hand and rotate his arm with the same basic exercises that he uses for his left when it starts to get stiff.]]

[The condition of his left hand is a little worrying. Hm...]

A Weapon, luckily! [[Says with good cheer. He's pretty sure he'd be the worst Meister ever...]]

... It might be possible to get your hand healed. There are Meisters capable of healing Weapons.
