Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[[Gives a soft laugh, rubbing the back of his neck a little]] Not for very much longer! Mind if I join you a little while?

Not at all. [he pats the ground next to him] This one has not been outside for a bit, so it will be nice to share the sun.

[shiromadoushi]

[[sits down where invited, letting his legs stretch out.]] Been busy with something indoors?

[ryuuhirameki]

Resting. This one's body... was not in the best shape after the events earlier this month, and Kaoru-dono might have been more terrifying than anything, if I'd tried to do much before being fully recovered.

[shiromadoushi]

[[a small laugh as he looks down a little]] Whatever's needed to make sure you heal, right? I can't blame her much for that.

[[a small, hesitant moment before he decides to avoid a specific subject]] Hopefully the rest of the month will be easier on everyone...

Maa, she was not the only one concerned. I'm simply glad that it's over for now, that I am. [He looks down at his hands] What happens next... may be unavoidable, so for that reason we should concern ourselves with the moments of peace that we have now.

[shiromadoushi]

[[a small nod]] Un... that's a good way to look at it, I think. If we spend the whole time worrying... we'll just be already worn down by the time it happens, right?

[[Not that it ever stopped him from worrying for very long to remember that...]]

Mm. [looking back at Bakura] I think it's good to treasure what we have while we can, because in the end, almost everything changes.

[[another nod]] Sometimes for the better, though, right? It's not always loss. Sometimes.... sometimes change brings something new that can make everything different, more like the way you want them to be.

[[Like arriving at Domino. Like arriving at Death City...]]

[[a nod]] I don't think most people really anticipate change. Not big changes, anyway. There really isn't much way to. All you can do it make a guess, based on how things were before. But in a place like this, there's really no way any guess you make can even hope to be right, ne?

No, I'd say that's true. [a bit of a laugh] The only thing we do know here is that danger is inevitable. As it is anywhere—times change, perhaps, but people never change. Still... in these times it is amazing still watching many grow together, that it is.

[shiromadoushi]

[[a nod]] It really is. I think... when there is something like this, it really does bring people closer. No matter what the conflict is.

Mm. [leaning back, a lull in the conversation]
