[Open] Morning Training! - February 16th

Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 16th.

[Alas, the sword goes flying out of his hands. Were he more ready for the swing, he probably could have braced himself and held on, but it catches him totally off-guard and sends him tumbling to the ground as the sword clatters nearby.

He blinks a bit, startled by the force of Auron's swing, but scrambles to grab the sword quickly, furrowing his brow at the man.]

What about...um. Have you found a way to adapt the movements so the flow and fluidity of them is not hindered much? [Because it seemed like Neji had down the other parts. Holds, while weird, are something she can work with.]

"Um, anyway.. I-I do know what you mean there. It will be strange to have someone else deciding how and when to attack. I suppose we will just have to hope we find a good Meister, then." She smiled.

[She eyes that step forward, curbing her own desire to step back. Some people had different views on personal space, she knew. And she was learning.]

I've had years and years of broken fingers and slashes from trying to learn something that simple. *Auron put down his sword.* You need to start training every day on how to swing it and build up strength in your non-mail arm.

[Ed backs up a bit too, bringing one hand up in a ready-stance, unable to keep the smirk from his face.]

Neji'll start by teaching him basic vital points, the effects of different types of force, and have him practice hitting them accurately on a regular person sized training dummy he'll have set up for him. It'll be fairly repetitive work at first until Ed starts hitting them with speed and accuracy]

[He finally clears his mind enough to relax in this unfamiliar girl's presence, and soon enough she finds herself holding onto a birch switch. It's almost surprising; Chika seems undeniably skilled in a way he doesn't exactly understand (just what does make a person good at resonating?).

The bond feels a bit forced, still, as though it could break at any moment, but at least that's something that they can work with.]
