Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

*Getting drunk with Date wasn't the smartest of things but it beat drinking alone when he felt like -that-. It helped. Maybe. A little bit. But now was the time to return to training. They still had a war to win and Auron now had to find another partner. You feel like harassing an old man?*

[The training here isn't quite the same as actually pitting yourself against demons and gods. Raidou soon finds himself restless, itching for something to do even when he should be taking a break.

It doesn't help that his thoughts start drifting to the situation back home every now and then. There isn't anything he can do about it while he's here, he knows, but if he could just think of something...

The detective shakes his head. He should concentrate on Death City and the war instead of being distracted by anything else. Perhaps if he spends enough time here... He'll have a chance to figure things out.]

[Training: Day One has not gone well for Thor. He's learned that in this place he can fight well only when wielded by another, he's been turned into a hammer by whatever witchcraft runs this bizarre city, and he's been bested in combat by everyone he challenged to spar. The only thing more bruised than his body is his pride.

Should anyone decide to approach Thor as he storms away from the main training areas to neaten himself up as best he can before he returns home, they will find the prince of Asgard in the kind of sullen mood that would have had every servant in Gladsheim tiptoeing around him. He's muttering to himself as he tries (with embarrassing lack of success) to force a drinking fountain to function.]

Curse this city-- curse Midgard and all its pointless magic!

[It's around 8 AM when Ms. Fortune finally yawns, stretching to crack her back and wanders off to find a suitable place in the rising sun. There's several patches of soft grass, but none of the spots are perfect. She's wandering closer to a tree before finally clawing up the ground. She lays down and yawns again widely, fangs glinting.]

[This is perfect. Sun on her back, her tail curls and her head resting on her arms. Yup, just right.]

[It's only a cat nap; someone could probably easily awaken her.]

[Loki showed up late today. He doesn't seem to have much interest in doing any Meister or resonance training, although he did stop by the shooting range to practice for a while.

Or maybe just to kill time.

Mostly, Loki's just waiting around. What is he waiting for? Who knows but Loki?

You'll find him leaning up against a tree, reading a horror novel in the vein of H.P. Lovecraft. At least, he looks like he's reading it. He doesn't turn the pages quite often enough to be convincing.]

[Always at some point before training is over, Amaterasu wanders a distance to observe training as a whole. Her nose itches a bit; something it ticking it. Perhaps lingering Madness still clung to a number of trainees after the field trip or maybe a few of them went out again. Gutsy, but it was their decision.]

[She sat in her usual spot, careful not to crush the flowers and curling her tail around her paws. Well, what was there to do today?]

Clare was waiting over in her little quiet training area. Originally the purpose was to train privately so she didn't get too nervous about being watched. Her self doubts amplified by an audience, perceived or real. Except now it was also a spot where she generally expected one or two different people to bother her.

She... rather liked the one on one sessions she got out here, it was better for her. Most guests appeared in the morning at least a few days a week, it reminded her of school and all the faces she knew but didn't know. But without the schoolwork to focus on, as a reason to not know everyone.

She waited for someone to find her, working on some basic martial arts moves. Even if a part of her kept suggesting she stop working on defending herself and find a partner, she was a weapon, her purpose was not to fight herself.

Willa had several good reasons to show up to the training session, even if she was going to kick herself if this turned out to be a waste of her time. First and foremost was free pancakes, she just... didn't want to make pancakes. She'd made lots of food working for Leo, and most of it wasn't for her. Just once she wanted to not have her making food be part of the deal.

The second was to get a better understanding of this Meister Weapon thing. Which could be done through watching everyone with disapproving eyes. She didn't care to be a Meister or whatever, she didn't want to be part of this stupid war, but she did need to know the lay of the land if she wanted to get out of here and make her way through the world on her own.

The final reason was to gauge if anyone would be a good confidant, and who would be a good patsy. She also figured with all these weirdos from all over everywhere she would need to figure out who had the talent to be a danger while she worked her trade across Death City. She paid special attention to the Watch, and to the instructors of the higher level combat. Pretty sure a few of them might be trouble while she supplements her income.

So she watched, wandered, and studied the gathered idiots. Who so quickly played along with the rules and ideals of the people that kidnapped them. Adults were stupid and if they all died in this war she really wouldn't care. ...Except maybe the kids, but from what she saw those kids were as likely to be normal members of society as she was. Still, war wasn't some place any of them belonged. That just made her hate this place more.

[Lili doesn't even want to be here.

She has Ryoki staying at her apartment, and she'd feel a lot better if she were back there with him. At the same time, she knows that if she doesn't stay active, she's only going to feel worse, and longer. So, while she doesn't feel like training, she decides to spend some time there near the end of the session, to see if she can find some motivation.

So far, she's found none, and is sitting on the sidelines picking at a loose string on her skirt, instead.]

[How did Merrill find her way here? Not even she is quite certain. She was simply looking for Casualty Communal, but she kept finding new streets to go down. And Death City was just so...so large!

So when she saw so many people around this morning in such a beautiful park, she couldn't not come over. Humans (mostly)! Enjoying nature! And grass! Oh, grass...she really missed it after all that sand.

Search for where her apartment is momentarily abandoned, she sits down and takes off her sandals, stretching out her toes. Yep, totally someone here for training.]

[Today instead of working on the more physical aspect of her training, Hinata was taking her time to meditate instead. With her schedule, it felt as if she hadn't been doing so as often as she should. Hitting dummies and working on her Weapon Transformation was a much better way of staying awake than sitting down and meditating.

With her even breathing and still posture, it's almost hard to tell if she's actually awake...]

[Obito walks into training pretty late, but at least he showed up. He's been scarce for a while now, practically shut in his room without even touching the network and only leaving for work, but all things must come to an end. Even mourning.

Dressed in a grey sweatsuit, the only thing he's wearing that's typical of his style is his orange goggles. Both Uchiha jacket and Konoha headband have been left at home.

Obito is also a little paler and thinner than normal, but he's sitting upright and outside, at least. While he isn't making an effort to join in any spars or going out of his way to talk with anyone, he won't be turning down company if anyone joins him on the sidelines.]

[The last time they'd hung out outside of training, Tifa had mentioned to Cloud the idea of meeting her partner. It'd been something she'd wanted for awhile, thinking that their personalities would match up very well-- or possibly not so well, all things depending. You never really could say with boys and their egos.

But today was the day, and as Tifa pulled Cloud along, looking out for Kanji, she glanced up at him with a slight frown.]

You're going to be nice to him, right?

[Hitsugaya has been training for the most of the morning, spending some of the time with his partner but also by himself with the practice dummies. Towards the end of the morning, he's sitting close the training grounds in the lawn, watching the new fighters that have come in.]

[Ed's there, always up for sparring with people! Currently he's having at a training dummy with a wooden practice sword to practice things he's learning from Auron, trying to incorporate in Neji's pressure point training with his free hand.]

[Hiccup is looking a little lost, but he's actually feeling a little bit more at ease watching everything going on in the training grounds than he has so far since arriving in Death City. People practicing fighting he can understand, even if most of it involves half of the people turning into weapons.

But hey, he can understand sparring, even if he's no good at it himself.

So he'll just be wandering around, trying not to get in the way but perhaps failing more often than not.]

[It wasn't any surprise that the little Shinigami-sama was a busy guy, but today was the day. After finally, finally seeing some sign that his training was working in strengthening his soul, the reckless Kanji saw this as a sign to ramp things up considerably.]

[So there he was, seeking the boy out after pulling himself out of that little sucker punch earlier. He had no time to feel like crap.]
