Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February March 4th.

That is correct. All three of you need to work together, though it will be the Meister who will be the main link between the two weapons. You need to be aware of both souls at once and keep control over both. Still if the weapons do not get along or are not compatible, then the conflicting soul wavelengths will interfere with yours.

So your starting part will be to first find two weapons who not only get along but also ones that you can get along with as well. After that you need to train on syncing your souls together. It will be a little easier for the weapons as their resonance will be mostly on yours, but they will also need to adjust and become accustomed to one another. They don't necessarily need to know how to resonate and wield one another, but they will be working together.

I'll say it now. Dual resonance is difficult and requires a strong and focused soul to handle it. It could be easy for you, but it could also take a while.

[But one tidbit had him hesitant... some of the criteria removed a couple of who he thought were damn good candidates. He's got to pick up the pace!]

Say I got two people who turn into gloves but y'got a guy who turns into armor who wants to get in on it, too.

Well...I suppose it would be possible. I can't say for certainty that it's been done, however, at least not simultaneously.

Keep in mind that when you're resonating with a Weapon, you are in essence sharing your soul wavelength. Thus the connections will thin the more you try to handle at once. I can only think of a very small number of Meisters who would even have the soul capacity to handle it. [and even smaller to pull it off.]

But even so, more does not necessarily mean more efficiency.

Not gonna lie, The Mismatched Meister has a ring to it.

Exactly. It really is quite difficult. The only who could possibly wield so many at once would have been my father with the Death Scythes. But I don't believe he's ever had, either.

[Kanji hesitated. He'd heard only this and that about the late Shinigami-sama, and he kind of wanted to know more from what little he'd heard.]

...Can I ask what the old man was like?

[He'd understand if Kid didn't want to answer. It'd been years since his own father died, and even now he didn't talk much about the man.]

[there is a slight look of surprise. no one's really asked about him—most likely out of deference and respect for him. even now it wasn't an easy topic by any means. but Kid just looks at him for a moment before gazing back out to training area where everyone was still doing their thing.]

My father was a strong and powerful shinigami, but a benevolent one as well. There were times I could not understand why he would act or proceed in certain ways, but he always held the peace and souls of the world first and foremost.

As shinigami we represent order and our duty is to protect the world and maintain its peace. That is what my father did, and what he continued to do even until his death.
