Tonight, the park is full of life. Lights show the way towards the swimming pool, where you can find large white tents set up, all connected to each other. Music, loud chatter and laugher come from them, and inside you may find Guests and Natives enjoying the night together, a rare sight after recent events happening in the City. But tonight, all of that is to be forgotten. Maybe.

Welcome to the Summer Gala.

Feel free to leave your coat by the Coat room, listening to music (some songs are even played by Guests such as Karina, Shinji, Nanami, Hamel and John), dance together (don’t forget the Partner’s dance!), enjoy good food and good drinks, and perhaps after take a stroll by the swimming pool and the park.

[Psii is fairly sure has never danced, not even lost in sectors of memory that became corrupted over sweeps. Rosa wisely waited until after several drinks to persuade, and he is currently intensely aware of flush to face, and fact that hardware feels even more awkward than usual, especially hands, which he is not quite sure where to put.

Still, Rosa raised excellent point that best man at SS and Dii's human wedding will probably be expected to dance. Can do this for them.]

[After a few drinks of her own, the faint flush to her cheeks is visible as well. Dolorosa can handle her alcohol quite well, but she's dangerously close to tipsy, coherent enough to be in complete control of her faculties but still affected enough to be a lot more relaxed than usual.

She lets out a little laugh at Psii's words, sounding very much like a drunk giggle, before taking a step closer to him. Dancing involves being inside someone's personal bubble, and she knows her friend isn't as comfortable about being touched as she is.]

And that is why I've offered to teach you, [She says almost cheerfully.] In human culture, the male is supposed to lead the female as they dance. I find it ridiculous, personally, but I suppose a human wedding requires following human traditions, so you will most likely have to assume a more dominant role on the dancefloor.

[Psii doesn't mind family encroaching on personal bubble. In fact, thanks to alcohol input, finds contact much more welcome than usual.]

[Looks around at couples who are already dancing, and puts hand on Rosa's shoulder, hesitance not because minds the touch, but because wants to be sure is positioning hardware correctly.]

[She can definitely tell that Psii is more comfortable with being touched than usual, and her smile becomes warmer, a hint of fondness present in her voice when she speaks again.]

[Dolorosa knows that the reason behind his uncertainty is not knowing where to put his hands on, so she nods reassuringly when Psii places his hand on her shoulder; she reaches for his other hand and holds it, before placing her free hand on his waist.]

Focusing on the music and its rhythm should make this significantly easier than if you focus purely on how to move. Ready?

Having hand on Rosa's waist is slightly alarming, but in distant way, as if Psii recognizes would be alarmed if weren't for alcohol making everything seem less worrying.]
