Tonight, the park is full of life. Lights show the way towards the swimming pool, where you can find large white tents set up, all connected to each other. Music, loud chatter and laugher come from them, and inside you may find Guests and Natives enjoying the night together, a rare sight after recent events happening in the City. But tonight, all of that is to be forgotten. Maybe.

Welcome to the Summer Gala.

Feel free to leave your coat by the Coat room, listening to music (some songs are even played by Guests such as Karina, Shinji, Nanami, Hamel and John), dance together (don’t forget the Partner’s dance!), enjoy good food and good drinks, and perhaps after take a stroll by the swimming pool and the park.

[ the partner's dance hasn't even begun and he is already outside, escaping the loud noise and lights and people. Sitting nearby, he smokes while he grabs his DS, going back to his gaming world and ignoring everything else, like the gamer he is. ]

[ .. There's something familiar about the guy. Vaguely familiar, either way, but it's not like Josuke was in the best state of mind in any way back then so he doesn't really recognize Matt - he was a Weapon either way and all. But still, the guy catches his attention with the way he's just sitting there, blinking.. he shoves his hands in the pockets of the pants of his suit. ]

Yo, what game is that? [ IS THAT REALLY WHAT YOU SHOULD ASK HERE, JOSUKE.. ]

[ Matt plays with the cigarette in his mouth, pressing the buttons. he doesn't look up at the other, though.

Not yet. ]

[ he looks up.

Oh. That's a familiar face. ]

Oh, hey.

[ He's just ignoring the "oh, hey" at the end since he doesn't even realise that Matt is recognizing him, he's way too excited about the game, staring at it with wide open eyes. ]

Silver, really?! I never got to play that, they were still working on it back home! [ The wonders of 1999.. ] You gotta show me what it's like!

Yeah, it's pretty cool. [ aaand matt doesn't care. All he cares about is introducing the wonders of Pokemon to the less fortunate, who didn't have the chance to play.

The red head shows him the game. ][ Matt presses few buttons to show his Pokégear ] In the Pokégear you have a watch, map, radio, and phone, and you can call call other characters.

All that shit in a Pokémon game?! [ WOAH. Completely surprised and maybe even a little amazed.. ]

Sure there was the map before, and a watch wouldn't be that hard either, but.. an entire radio?! Does it play some good stuff?

It depends. You need to get a card from two radio towers to get some sound to play. But honestly b- the radio is just a plus.

[ and Matt speaks of it like a kid talking about his best collections ]

You have new Pokemons. And Pokemons can hold items. A new type of item able to be held is the berry, which can restore health, cure status effects or give boosts during battle.

It's pretty cool.

[ Man, this is still all mind blowing. To think they'd put that much stuff in a new game.. now he feels bad for being pulled here before being able to play it back home. ]

I gotta tell Okayasu we have to save up for that back home, man.. it sounds like it's much better than the first ones. How many new Pokémon did they even think up?
