Tonight, the park is full of life. Lights show the way towards the swimming pool, where you can find large white tents set up, all connected to each other. Music, loud chatter and laugher come from them, and inside you may find Guests and Natives enjoying the night together, a rare sight after recent events happening in the City. But tonight, all of that is to be forgotten. Maybe.

Welcome to the Summer Gala.

Feel free to leave your coat by the Coat room, listening to music (some songs are even played by Guests such as Karina, Shinji, Nanami, Hamel and John), dance together (don’t forget the Partner’s dance!), enjoy good food and good drinks, and perhaps after take a stroll by the swimming pool and the park.

But please, don’t forget to thank your hosts, Keroro’s and Eve’s Metokkori R and Hikan Café, and thank Cupid, Lily’s Yesterday's Magic, Hyoubu’s World’s End, Condesce’s Betty Crocker Bakery and the Watch for all their help. [thankfully sugata didn't have any trouble finding a suit thanks to his new job over at the butler cafe. so his outfit looks a little something like this except, you know, more garnished with the lord death skulls you see all around town. the one thing that definitely sticks out the most would be the cast on his arm. in fact it probably clashes horribly, since he has one of the sleeves rolled up to his elbow and the jacket resting on his shoulders. but hey, at least he's not being stupid about it anymore.

he isn't entirely sure how he should function with it on though. if we're being completely honest here. BUT HE'S HERE, SO THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW!! also he apologizes if he bumps into you.]

[Don't bump into people at parties, Sugata. Keroro is only glad he wasn't holding punch. His big hat does make him nearly lose balance though.]

[it could be worse keroro. he could have actually body slammed you! he looks up and then down at the sudden noise.]

Oh--!!! I'm sorry, I didn't see you... [he pauses. wait a minute, that voice sounds familiar...] Have we spoken to each other before?

Oh my ap-- [he pauses.] de arimasu-- We have spoken. You recommended Captain Deathlock to me a couple of days ago.

Ah. You're right, de arimasu.

[Oops.]

I remember now, de arimasu. How have you been, de arimasu?

[Takuto's is holding a smaller jacket that must obviously belong to Yako, though he's looking rather classy himself. He seems to have cheered up quite a bit for the party (though Yako's dress is mainly responsible for that), and even grins when he spots his friend.]

Sugata! You made it!

[peacocked]

Of course I did. I said I would go, so... [he gestures to himself with one arm.] Here I am. And you know I never go back on my word.

[tauborn]

You clean up nice. [He says this after giving his friend a kind of once-over and standing back to get the full picture. Of course Sugata always looks rather nice--it's just his style--but who'd have known he'd look good even with a cast and decorated in skulls?]

Thank you, but it's just my work uniform. [and he doesn't exactly have the money to be blowing it on a nice tux. he sees no point in going out and buying one anyway when he already has one. he might later down the road, but that'll only be when he's set money wise. he looks at takuto and gives him a playful smirk.] You clean up rather nicely yourself.

[Haha, butler Sugata. It's like karma for growing up with maids.]

I have to like nice, or else I won't match Yako.

[Speaking of her, he still has her coat and is supposed to hang it up somewhere. Excuse him while he steps inside the coatroom for a moment. But he's back rather quickly.]

[Yuugi shows up at the gala looking not too different from usual, actually, with a few changes appropriate for the grandness of the event. He doesn't even have a coat so he's just trying to get through the crowd when he accidentally bumps into Sugata, on the side of the good arm, thankfully.]

Oh-- Sorry Sugata-kun!

[he looks up and then down at yuugi and waves his hand.] Oh Yuugi, it's alright. You didn't hurt anything.

[mieru_mienai]

[Yuugi gives him a small smile, obviously a bit relieved.] Good... [And then he thinks of something else.] Oh, have you seen Takuto-kun?

[peacocked]

[he looks up and scans the crowd. he likes to prize himself in his ability to find his best friend for lyfe. a couple of seconds later he points off in the opposite direction yuugi came from. but then again that red hair is like a beacon in the light.] He's over there.

[Yuugi glances over in the direction Sugata gestures, sees nothing through the crowd, and so rises to his tiptoes to look again. Ah, there he was.]

Oh, he's with Yako-san...

[Kind of staring at her, too, from what Yuugi can see, and from what he can see of her he can understand why. He quickly drops back down onto his heels.]

I'll, uh, talk to him later, I guess.

[Aqua is wearing the blue chiffon dress Fabiola gave her for Christmas. Mostly because it's the only nice dress she has. She's also wearing mythril earrings though probably very few people could tell they weren't made of normal materials unless they looked carefully.

She didn't expect to be bumped into (then again, who is?), but she keeps her balance pretty well and turns with an apologetic look which turns into recognition.]

Good evening. I haven't seen you in a while. [Also, giving your arm a concerned look.]

Sorry, I- oh. [he blinks as he looks down at aqua. gosh she sure is pretty~ he shakes his head and bows it apologetically.] Yes it has been. I hope you have been having a good evening.

[She's still half-convinced she looks strange.]

I've been fairing alright myself. What have you been up to lately?
