Tonight, the park is full of life. Lights show the way towards the swimming pool, where you can find large white tents set up, all connected to each other. Music, loud chatter and laugher come from them, and inside you may find Guests and Natives enjoying the night together, a rare sight after recent events happening in the City. But tonight, all of that is to be forgotten. Maybe.

Welcome to the Summer Gala.

Feel free to leave your coat by the Coat room, listening to music (some songs are even played by Guests such as Karina, Shinji, Nanami, Hamel and John), dance together (don’t forget the Partner’s dance!), enjoy good food and good drinks, and perhaps after take a stroll by the swimming pool and the park.

[This month had been a rough one. Probably the roughest month that he’d ever had here. And that was all thanks to the witches. Sendo had done a lot of things while under the influence of that madness that he wasn’t proud of. Though he knew that the things he had done weren’t really his fault, he still couldn’t help but feel that they were.

But tonight was about forgetting about those things. He just wanted to come out and have a good time. Of course he invited Saya along as his date, because he knew she probably needed this outing just as much as him. It was a little last moment, since he didn’t even hear about this Gala until the day he finally made it back to Death City. Still, he managed to get himself a nice Tuxedo, one that he didn’t feel absolutely uncomfortable in. And now he was stand at the entrance awaiting for his date to arrive.

But he was more than willing to chat with anyone until then.]

[ Saya is wearing a blue dress, which she only picked yesterday, high heels and her hair isn't tied up. She might be regretting the dress a bit because her chest is... heavy and the dress seems to barely keep it in place.

She does, however, to look very natural. ]

Ah- Sendo! [ when she sees her Meister, the girl comes closer with a smile ]

[Sendo was starting to wonder where Saya was. He knew she wasn't going to stand him up or anything, but he was starting to wonder if maybe she got sidetracked by something. When he heard his name, he looked to her and did a double take. He was so used to seeing Saya with her hair up and in typical, non-formal clothing. It was a bit jarring to see her so dressed up.]

..Wow.

[ She comes closer, but eventually grows self-conscious when she hears the other.

H-hey.

Ah, you look nice.

T-Thanks. I think you look..really amazing yourself. [He really likes her in blue.]

[ AH. Well.

She is blushing a lot. ]

Thank you. Anyway! Let's go inside?

[naniwarocky]

Y-Yeah. We can. [He holds his hand out for hers.] Come on.

[sayatakagi]

[ Saya takes his hand, trying not to look too obvious as she attempts to pull up her dress a bit to cover her chest more ]

Have you gone to one of these things before?

[naniwarocky]

[That's going to be a losing battle with your dress, Saya.]

Nope. I've never been invited to anything this fancy at all. [He even used to skip the school dances.]

I have been to one or two. They are usually boring, though. [ she hopes it won't be the same tonight ]

[naniwarocky]

Well those aren't in a crazy place like this one. So you might have a more enjoyable time.

[sayatakagi]

"Crazy" is not a good adjective, you realize?

[naniwarocky]

So what if it isn't?

[ Talking about feeling absolutely uncomfortable, there's actually some guys here who aren't used to wearing a suit at all.. even now he's standing there at the entrance, seemingly waiting for someone too, Josuke keeps fiddling with his tie as if he just can't get used to the feeling of actually wearing one.

In the end he finally manages to stop for a moment, letting out a sigh as he spots the other guy, looking a little sheepish. ]

Man, how do you manage, wearing this kinda shit..

[Sendo had saw the guy fiddling with his tie, but he hadn't said anything. But when the guy speaks to him, Sendo chuckles a little.]

Like most new things in life, it takes some getting used to. I used to hate wearing them much more than I do now. [But since he had to wear them a lot at press conferences and things, he kind of got used to wearing them. He even learned how to properly tie them!]

Heh, you're saying that like you're walking around in this kinda shit all the time.

[ At least it gets a tiny grin out of him, and he just shoves his hands in his pockets, giving up on the tie for now. ]

This seriously is my first time.

I think I'd go crazy if I had to walk around in something like this all the time. Back on my world I'm a boxer. I have to appear in public to do press conferences and stuff and my trainer usually doesn't like for me to just show up to those events in street clothes.

Woah, a real boxer, huh.. I guess I do that sorta thing too, but not really as a sport..

[ WHAT KIND OF IMPRESSION ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE OFF, JOSUKE. ]

*The dhampir shows up, looking a little lost and perhaps still trying to get his bearings in his new suit, a black suit with pinstripes, complete with a black silk shirt underneath and deep red tie. He's wearing a hat on his head with his long blond hair neatly tied at his neck.*

Evening, Alucard. [Sendo really isn't all that surprised to see him here. The guy had an air about himself that made it seem like he would fit into this sort of atmosphere very well.]

You here alone or did you come with someone?

[draculabackwards]

I could not find a young woman to accompany me, so I appear to be here by myself. What of you? *Well, he is technically a prince so maybe that counts?*

[naniwarocky]

I invited my partner to come with me. She hasn't arrived yet, but I doubt she'll keep me waiting all that long.

[draculabackwards]

Your partner...she is not the young woman who is quite good at making breakfast goods during morning training, is she?

[naniwarocky]

[He nods.] The loud one with pink hair and pig tials. [He doesn't know if Alucard had heard Saya, but she could be quite loud.]

I am envious of you. It must be nice to have someone who can cook that well living with you.
