Characters: The Watch & OPEN to everyone
Location: Death City
Time: May 10th-13th
Rating: PG-13 for now
Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.
The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.
In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.
The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...

Honestly, Amaterasu didn't want to involve herself in this matter of riots and protests because it was silly they got so out of hand. Humans who feared became angry and continued on from their. They turned that anger against the people who protected them who, beyond resonance giving them the ability to fight Kishin eggs, were still only 'human' in the sense. It was utterly shameful behavior and she expected better of them.
Right now, she sat with a group of protesters who have calmed down. Unfortunately for them, she has no human tongue in their form and cannot communicate with them easily. Should they open their mouth and the goddess sense anger, she glared in their direction fiercely and made them sit again with a paw. Seriously, now was the time they had to sit and think about what they were doing.
Both Keroro and Eve will be replying. Hope that's all right.
Eve, with Keroro at her side, spotted a familiar white figure. She looked to Keroro for a second, "Should we go over to see if she needs help?"

Shopping district -- OPEN
How many times had Auron had to say that today? Either because of his permanent scowl or the giant pig sticker on his back, he'd been able to get people to stop causing trouble.
He couldn't do it forever though. Someone was going to cause enough trouble and start a fight like at the Agency the other day.
OPEN || Financial/Service District
Sadly, Aqua's build wasn't exactly what you would call intimidating. She had managed to keep people from causing trouble so far, but it was only a matter of time someone worked up the nerve to challenge her.
At the moment, she had a group of protesters trying to corner her. Her eyes narrowed and her voice when she spoke was cold, "I'm giving you one more chance to surrender peacefully." It was different than when she was a Keyblade Master. She was expected not to fight first and ask questions later.
In response, one of the protesters just sneered. "And what are you going to do if we don't?"
Financial
She saw the people complaining as ungrateful louses and had to hold herself back from beating the crap out of a few and she didn't need her weapon form to do it either. Nanami's build didn't indicate a lot of strength but her icy glare and confidence more than made up for it. It might have been any combination of that that had kept her in one piece so far.
Spotting a possible disturbance ahead, Nanami approached it from the side. "Right, right, keep moving people," her voice was filled with annoyance and she shooed some people on the fringes aside while trying to see who they all had been looking at.

But once she saw Aqua starting to get cornered, Chika couldn't help but clench her fists. Especially once she heard what that last person said.
So yeah, time for storming up to near her friend. "I think a bigger question is this. Do you guys really want to find out?"

It looked like he was about to get one.
He'd come upon a group of thugs spray-painting anti-Shibusen graffiti on a storefront, three of them, who clearly liked their odds against someone who weighed about half what any one of them did.
Mello smirked at them as he could see their tiny collective brain come to its conclusion about whether to run or put up a fight. Just what I need. Bring it.

Except for one guy, who looked familiar. He'd made a few posts Zero had seen on the network.
"Need any help dealing with this trash?" Zero asked.

Fabiola is not a fan of BREW herself right now, but she has a job to do, and she isn't going to let that get in the way of it. Besides, it wasn't as if she hadn't always been aware of the possibility-- she had just been ill-prepared for anything to actually happen. Regardless, the situation was one wherein she would not feel too badly about letting out her frustration with the situation as a whole. A hand slid behind her, fingers coming to rest on the weapon she had hidden in extra panels of fabric in her skirt.
"So if you would please move along? This does not have to become an altercati--"
It seemed, however, that Fabiola's size (or lack thereof) added to Mello's wasn't enough to dissuade them, and she ducked a fist, darted forward, and used her assailant's bent knee, bent from his lunge to strike her, as a springboard for the knee she introduced to his chin. Her hand slid away from her weapon as she landed, the man stumbling back but not out from her strike, and she raised both her hands in an 'oh well' sort of gesture.
"Okay. We'll do it your way."

Holocaust Mall | OPEN
Oh right, she thought as she hung a sharp left, dodging through the crowd of locals - who were already eyeing her a bit more than she liked. We need bread. And as far as she knew, Dwight was out fixing things.
She needed the exercise anyway. Her ankle was better, but it was still a little weak, and she needed to work it to make it strong again. Suddenly, right when she was approaching the grocery store, someone bumped her - hard - and because her ankle wasn't quite to the point where it should have been, it gave out beneath her, sending her knocked over into a couple other people to her right. The bump jostled her bad arm, and she hissed loudly, scrunching up her face as she tried to get her footing back.
But it was no use; whoever she had been knocked into shoved her away, yelling "Hey, watch where you're going!"
Finally she caught her balance, but the damage was already done. She turned and looked at the civilian who had pushed her back with wide eyes, lips parted a little as her mind raced. "I'm sorry, I didn't-"
Right then someone else knocked her bad arm, and she doubled over, clutching it to her torso as she tried to remain calm. The crowd was quickly becoming overwhelming, and she had lost much of her momentum. She wasn't in the right headspace to use her ability, so she just started backing up, making sure to hold onto her arm as she turned to leave before the situation got worse than it already had.

Still, he'd go stir-crazy if he just locked himself in his apartment, so he'd ventured out to the mall to wander around despite the general air of hostility that had fallen over the area recently. The crowds were thick and for the most part he'd been slipping along the edges to avoid getting caught up in anything, but he was curious by nature and when it sounded like there was a bit of a scuffle going on in the middle of one mass of people, he couldn't help but sidle on through to take a peek.
It turned out to be less of a scuffle, however, and more "a bunch of angry natives pushing a lady around". And keeping at it pretty insistently, even as she was trying to just leave. Well, that didn't seem very fair, did it?
Starting a fight with regular humans didn't seem very fair, but luckily for them he preferred mischief to throwing punches. When one of the men involved leant in just far enough that his balance was unsteady, Jack quickly ducked into the fray to "accidentally" bump into him, knocking him over into the man next to him, similarly unstable. The overall effect was hilariously similar to dominos.
And it was enough to cause a bit of confusion for a few moments and simultaneously open a hole in the crowd, through which Jack reached to catch the woman's hand and tug her out. "Time to go!"
hope this is okay!
yep! :>

flee in terrorleave peacefully. So in his off time, Alphonse has a pile of cleaning supplies strewn about the ground and is making use of a tall mop and a strong detergent to remove the paint the old fashion way. Alchemy sure would come in handy right now.]

Suddenly, a crash. "Hey!" Gray snapped, striding towards one particular crowd that had been getting on his last nerve. A large crack was present across the glass door of one of the stores, apparently as a result of a heavy looking rock lying nearby. "I told you to knock it off already! That's the sort of stuff that'll get your asses thrown in jail!"

He luckily has a shield on him, using that and his stature to stop the attacks on the business. He isn't attacking back, however, just trying to disperse the crowd with his words. Steve probably could knock them out, but that isn't something he really wants to do.
"These businesses have a right to sell in Death City. I'm not gonna move from here until you guys disperse."

but really, she was out here to inflict all of her pent-up anger and frustration on any anti-Guest person who so much as breathes wrong on her. it's soothing even when they simply run off in a panic at the sight of her stiletto blades, something to focus on instead of the gnawing voice in her head reminding her that it was her fault for not keeping a closer eye on him. how many days had he been back and already missing again? some friend she was.
she's currently embroiled in a fight against two hooligans who'd been loitering in the vague vicinity of her workplace. at this point she doesn't particularly care if someone's upset with her for provoking the locals - they deserve it]

Outer Residential Quarter One - OPEN
Psii had heard that often enough on Alternia that he winced instinctively at hearing it now. Could be no doubt he was target. Strange looks often drew from Death City residents had been increasingly hostile lately. Walked faster, shoulders hunching. Not fast enough. Heard footsteps behind him, and not looking back was mistake. Hardware was getting stronger, but a shove sent him sprawling.
He scrambled to get up as they walked around in front of him: two humans. Fall had torn hole in pants, bloodied his knee, and scraped skin off his palms.
"We're talking to you, freak."
"Ugh, yellow blood? Disgusting."
Had heard that too many times, too. "Can't help what look like."
They laughed at that. "You're so much of a weirdo you can't even talk right," one said.
If had powers, you'd wish you hadn't said that. Couldn't fight. Only option was to back away, as humans continued to taunt, and hope they'd let him go.

Watch HQ
[OPEN]
At certain times throughout the day, he'll be spending time in the Watch HQ-- delivering reports from the Agency and taking a bit of much needed rest from using his still-aching wing. Since it's too much of a bother to tuck that hurt wing away, it'll be out while he's indoors, tucked close against his body.
Hope you don't mind a few large black feathers here and there.

L was taking it "easy"... by covering for both himself and the absent Yuri at HQ. Every now and then he whirled through the break room like a scrawny hurricane, refilling his coffee and seizing another plate of sugary calories. That's probably where you saw him, if you did; otherwise his darkened office was where he spent most of his time, earpiece firmly in place and eyes riveted to his surveillance screens.
