Characters: The Watch & OPEN to everyone
Location: Death City
Time: May 10th-13th
Rating: PG-13 for now
Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.
The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.
In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.
The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...
[OOC: Coordination post is here and as always, feel free to make your own threads!]

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. If I kick you, you're going to get pretty messed up." It could be a bluff. Then again, Zero was all reploid with more than human strength to match. Punching him would be like punching a solid sheet of metal.

He took advantage of being shorter than the thug closest to him to come in low, and headbutt him the solar plexus. It knocked the wind out of the guy, and he staggered back.

He pulled some plastic handcuffs out, and held them out to his ally, not even sparing the mental energy to be offended that, from the way the thugs were looking at them, they clearly still considered him more of a threat than Mello.
"Care to do the honors?"
He eats that chocolate so menacingly
"Don't mind if I do." Zero slapped a few of the cuffs around the miscreants and wasn't very polite pushing them along. "You're coming with me. You get out of line and crack you in the back of your knees with my foot."
It's a special talent!
"Thanks for the help." Mello would've introduced himself to his ally, except that he didn't want the thugs to have his name. Resigned to seeing this through until they could become someone else's problem, he walked along.
"If any of you assholes know anything about the kidnappings, you'd better talk."
Predictably, they only muttered curses and denials. Mello was fairly certain anyone who could engineer swiping guests right under everyone's nose was too smart to have got caught like these guys did.
