Characters: The Watch & OPEN to everyone
Location: Death City
Time: May 10th-13th
Rating: PG-13 for now
Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.
The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.
In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.
The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...

Financial
She saw the people complaining as ungrateful louses and had to hold herself back from beating the crap out of a few and she didn't need her weapon form to do it either. Nanami's build didn't indicate a lot of strength but her icy glare and confidence more than made up for it. It might have been any combination of that that had kept her in one piece so far.
Spotting a possible disturbance ahead, Nanami approached it from the side. "Right, right, keep moving people," her voice was filled with annoyance and she shooed some people on the fringes aside while trying to see who they all had been looking at.

"Quite trying to tell us what to do, you damned Shibusen dogs."
Aqua had to admit the turn of events worried her. It wasn't that she didn't think she needed help. She may have been trained to gight all her life, but it never hurt to have back up. She just wished it didn't mean someone else would be dragged into this. It looked like they were going to be in for a fight regardless.

"Excuse me? Who's a dog?" She glared directly at the person who had spoken it. He glanced away only for a moment before gathering back his confidence and glaring back at her.
"You are, you both are!"
"Please," she said in her best mean girl voice, "I'm just here for the extra paycheck, "guests" have to make a living somehow after being dragged here against our will. You know what," she continued without letting him get a word in edgewise, "I hate being a mediator, so I'm just going to wait until one of you get up the nerve to attack me so I can claim self defense." And with that she whirled her dagger around in her hand after it seemingly appeared out of nowhere, (really she kept it up her sleeve).

"You didn't need to provoke them further." She chided before letting her arm shift into the "blade" portion of her Keyblade. However, her attention was on the group in front of them, because from the expression on their faces, it won't be long until they took Nanami up on her challenge.

Nanami was keeping her own transformation as her trump card and she was a little disappointed that the other girl wasn't a Meister because that could definitely move things along.
"I'll bet you're just bluffing anyway," one of his friends piped in with a scowl, "you think just two of you could take this entire group?"
no subject
Maybe she should have saved it, and if she were perfectly honest using a regular sword gave her better reach. It was just that this was as close to fighting with her Keyblade as she'll get (and she has been without it for long enough that she'll allow herself to indulge in this small comfort).
Aqua looked over the group the numbers wasn't really that big, compared to some of the number of Unversed she sometimes ended up facing at once. She wasn't going to let her guard down, but she was pretty sure she could take them.
Ignoring the crowd, she glanced at Nanami and whispered, "How well can you fight?"
no subject
She glanced over the small crowd gauging her ability to take out half of them. So long as most of them weren't trained in martial arts she should be fine. "This wouldn't be my first brawl," she finally replied this time quietly while tapping the blunt side of the dagger on her empty hand, the people before them didn't need to know that fact.

"The fuck are you two whispering about?" The guy in the front cracked his knuckles, as he and a few of his lackeys walked towards them.

The group fanned out a little forming a semi-circle around the two girls looks were exchanged amongst them in a form silent communication. "I don't see any ladies here, just a couple of little girls pretending to be tough."
no subject
She shifted a little when the crowd around them moved so that more of her back was to Nanami.

The men were obviously not trained, possibly just street thugs. It meant their movements were easy to read and not difficult to react to.
They were also obviously not expecting them to react so quickly and because of that, Nanami will find that the first few she goes after will not be much trouble to take down and it was the same on Aqua's end.
no subject
She turned a bit farther noting Aqua had dispatched her fair share. If it was going to be this easy, she wasn't even going to need her dagger; with bare fists she could control the damage a little better seeing as how she sometimes had a hard time holding back. Nanami slid her dagger back up her sleeve and placed her other hand on her hip.
"Any other takers? Don't be shy."
no subject
They were angry, that was true, but seeing people from their group taken out so easily makes you wonder just how much your anger is worth.
It was one thing that made dealing with these people easier than dealing with the Unversed who would continue to attack regardless of danger.
Aqua held her stance, just in case though.
"We're giving you one more chance to disperse peacefully."
no subject
There was some murmuring and finally the mob began to disperse.
