Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.


The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.

In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.

The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...

"I see."

That meant that he had either been here
since then, or that he used to have an old partner that wasn't his partner anymore.

But he's surprised at Yamazaki's surprise.

"Why would I? I'm a teacher, so I'm used to it."

Besides, he wasn't a rude person. He hadn't really tried being one but still, he preferred to be civilized and polite. That way, fights could sometimes be avoided.

Fon's conclusion was right, Yamazaki was in Death City since March...well, he had arrived in February, but he spent a lot of time with making himself comfortable with the place.

And Fon made himself more and more likable for Yamazaki with his words and the atmosphere he gave to the place they were.

"Are you used to talking with whining swords? Were there so many talking weapons in your world?"

[firelotus]

A small chuckle escaped him. "No. But a friend of mine has a chameleon that can shape-shift. And I know several illusionists."

However, it would be nice to know the face of the person that he is talking to.

"If you try to settle your mind, and concentrate on turning back to human form, do you believe that you can?"

[anpan_tan]

A what? Chameleon? It's a lizard, isn't it? Kind of.

"And what can you talk about with a chameleon? Does he tell you what insects taste like?"

Yamazaki wouldn't mind to get back his human form. He was a bit worried about it, but having his own feet and arms was definitely a teasing option. so he concentrated for a few seconds and than pffft, an average-looking young man appeared next to Fon.

"Well...here I am. Yamazaki Sagaru, at your service."

[firelotus]

He chuckled. "No, he mostly only talks to my friend."

He smiled when Yamazaki turned into a person.

"At your service as well, Yamazaki." He bows in a proper greeting.

Yamazaki bows in return and takes a curious look at Fon.

"At my service? Are you from an elite family?"

[firelotus]

"No, I'm from a poor family. I'm just a independent martial artist."

[anpan_tan]

"And do you need a sword as an independent martial artist? You'll need a weapon if you stay here and I still don't have a Meister."

This is a bit humiliating, selling himself like...so yeah, this is a bit humiliating, but Yamazaki do want to find a Meister.

[firelotus]

"I have yet to attempt fighting with a Weapon in this world, but if you do not mind trying it out, I won't mind either."

[anpan_tan]

"But...but not right now, okay? Let's meet when you think it's okay for you. It's...transformation is a bit hard for me."

[It's a just a bit hard but absolutely shocking and frightening, thanks to the first person he used him for a Weapon.]

[firelotus]

Any time is fine with me. Just tell me when you are ready to give it a try.

[ He has patience, and knows that no matter what it concerned, it was important to wait until the other party was ready, and to not push. ]

[anpan_tan]

Is it...is ot okay if I'd give you a call when I'll be ready?

[Now this sounds awful. Fon is so nice and friendly to him and he can't stop telling these nonsense things. It's better to get out of here before he ruins this cool man's patience.]

I get to go now. To feed my cats. [the cats are all lies.] No, actually I don't have cats, but this day was very long.

[firelotus]

Of course, I don't mind that at all.

[ He can easily figure out why the man wants to leave, but he says nothing about it. ]

It indeed has. You should get some proper rest, then.

[Yamazaki gives a smile at Fon before he walks away, thinking that Fon didn't notice his bad condition.]
