Characters: The Watch & OPEN to everyone
Location: Death City
Time: May 10th-13th
Rating: PG-13 for now
Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.
The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.
In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.
The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...
[OOC: Coordination post is here and as always, feel free to make your own threads!]

Yeah, Totally in the Financial district
But once she saw Aqua starting to get cornered, Chika couldn't help but clench her fists. Especially once she heard what that last person said.
So yeah, time for storming up to near her friend. "I think a bigger question is this. Do you guys really want to find out?"

"Hah! As if we'd be afraid of you two. If you were really that strong, why haven't you beaten the Witches yet, huh?" One of the men at the front said, "You're all just a bunch of nuisances!"

"I dunno. Why haven't you beaten the Witches?" Chika shot back, hand already on her wooden sword. "Seems like complaining about something you can't do yourself is kinda dumb, isn't it?"

Despite what she said about a fight being unavoidable, she wasn't convinced that antagonizing the crowd was really the best idea.
"Fuck you!" The man spat, "You're the ones who were brought in to fight this stupid war!" The rest of the crowd agreed in a staggered chorus of 'yeah's and 'damn right's. Aqua's arm transformed into the blade of her Keyblade.
The man cracked his knuckles, "Let's see you put your money where your mouth is, eh?" As the man who had been talking to them advanced, so did a couple of his lackeys, some of them seemingly intent to use their signs as weapons.

Chika sighed as they moved in closer, sinking into a fighting stance as she saw them come closer, wooden sword ready to defend herself. There was no way she was going to throw the first punch though, if they really wanted a fight, they were going to have to start it themselves.

It wouldn't be long until the first attacks come from two men at the front. The one who had been speaking went after Chika.

Chika dodged to the side, moving to hit him in the side with her wooden sword and wait for another attack.
/sob. Fight logs are so hard to write. ;A;
The man Chika hit cursed, and grabbed his side for a moment before charging again, swinging his fist forward in an attempt to punch Chika in the face. It wasn't enough to take him down, but the hit left his side feeling tender.

But she had been here for almost half a year now, training constantly the entire time. This guy didn't stand a chance, not now.
Chika ducked under his punch, striking her sword into his stomach before pulling back and moving to slip behind him and follow up with another strike to his back. Hopefully he wouldn't be able to bother them much more while they moved to finish this fight quickly.
