Characters: The Watch & OPEN to everyone
Location: Death City
Time: May 10th-13th
Rating: PG-13 for now
Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.

The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.

In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.

The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...

Going to work isn't much of an option right now. People in the clinic are understandably too weak to protest. Those who do have Rosalia and CR-S01, two of the most mild-mannered and polite medics the goddess could work with. They'll power through the anger together and make sure people are cared for despite their ill words.

Honestly, Amaterasu didn't want to involve herself in this matter of riots and protests because it was silly they got so out of hand. Humans who feared became angry and continued on from their. They turned that anger against the people who protected them who, beyond resonance giving them the ability to fight Kishin eggs, were still only 'human' in the sense. It was utterly shameful behavior and she expected better of them.

Right now, she sat with a group of protesters who have calmed down. Unfortunately for them, she has no human tongue in their form and cannot communicate with them easily. Should they open their mouth and the goddess sense anger, she glared in their direction fiercely and made them sit again with a paw. Seriously, now was the time they had to sit and think about what they were doing.

Both Keroro and Eve will be replying. Hope that's all right.

Things really had gotten rather crazy. Luckily, the Kero-Ball could create weapons that were meant to subdue and not kill or wound. It was a small blessing at least.

Eve, with Keroro at her side, spotted a familiar white figure. She looked to Keroro for a second, "Should we go over to see if she needs help?"
starfruitfrog: (happy || YAY!)

[personal profile] starfruitfrog 2013-03-13 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Keroro has also spotted Amaterasu, thankfully recognizable as herself and not just a large dog. He gives an enthusiastic nod and starts heading in her direction, "Let's go, de arimasu!"
motherofthesun: (*drools*)

Totally fiiine

The goddess huffed and remained watching the protesters... well, they're more like children in timeout now. When they noticed Keroro and Eve approaching, a few begin to stand, but Amaterasu growled a displeased warning. They have five more minutes before they can go anywhere; do they want to lengthen that time?

She glanced over at the two when they get closer and nodded a greeting with a small grin.
nolicenseyet: (oh?)

Eve nodded and followed behind Keroro. It looked to Eve like Amaterasu had everything under control, though.

"Hello." Eve returned the nod and the grin with her own greeting.
starfruitfrog: (proud || I am flawless.)

"Hello, Amaterasu-dono!"

Keroro gives Amaterasu a salute before he takes a look at the protesters, "You've caught a lot of them, huh, de arimasu?"
motherofthesun: (Wolf: Bleh...)

[personal profile] motherofthesun 2013-03-14 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
"Ruf!"

That would be correct. Amaterasu turned her eye on the protesters and pawed her nose, shaking her head. At her display of disappointment, some of the people fidgeted and bowed their heads more. It was one thing to get scolded by a parent, but when an animal was doing it, there was something more about it like nature was disappointed. All true enough; nature was. Even the birds had been staying away because of this all.

...this whole thing was a real eye-opener for Eve. She's seen a monkey commanding a troup of humans, of course, but that particular monkey could speak and even though it wasn't that strong. It was obvious that Amaterasu commanded a lot more respect without being able to say a word.

It was kind of cool.

"You even managed to calm them down."
starfruitfrog: (talking || Kero...?)

[personal profile] starfruitfrog 2013-03-18 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
"But what are you going to do with them, Amaterasu-dono?"

Because you couldn't just keep scolding them in public.

Well.

You could, but Keroro wasn't so sure that it was a good idea.
motherofthesun: (Wolf: Legendary God)

[personal profile] motherofthesun 2013-03-18 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
She could. Anyone who wanted to stand up or them would get the same.

Amaterasu looked and woofed. Well, they were just accomplices. Ending the violence with them wasn't going to happen. With a wave of her paw and her head turned away, she dismissed the group, allowing them to leave with hanging heads. As for any tools they were using in the riot, they left them behind.

Eve watched the protesters go and decided that Amaterasu was definitely cooler than the monkey. Much, much cooler.

She looked back at the space where they were once the last one was gone, though.

"We should gather those up..."
starfruitfrog: (talking || Kero...?)

[personal profile] starfruitfrog 2013-03-23 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
"We could bring that stuff to the Watch, de arimasu."

Or maybe just put them where people can't get to them? Keroro watches as the last protester rounds the corner before he walks over to the tools.
motherofthesun: (But tl;dr)

[personal profile] motherofthesun 2013-04-02 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
Amaterasu looked between the two of them with a slight yawn. It was their decision; she didn't have any use for their signs and tools.
nolicenseyet: (...processing...)

[personal profile] nolicenseyet 2013-04-02 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Maybe we could leave the signs behind." She wasn't sure what the point of bringing those back would be.

She didn't follow Keroro right away though. She pauses before reaching out to pat Amaterasu on the head.
starfruitfrog: (salute || SIRYESSIR!)

[personal profile] starfruitfrog 2013-04-02 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Keroro turns around with one arm clutching a bunch of tools (because signs were just a bit too big for him to carry) and gives Amaterasu a salute with his free hand.

"Thanks for your hard work, Amaterasu-dono!"
motherofthesun: ([Camellia] Nuzzle~)

[personal profile] motherofthesun 2013-04-02 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Amaterasu looked quite pleased especially when Eve patted her head. Looking at Keroro, she bowed her head back. They are both very welcome. Of course, there was still more that needed to be done.
nolicenseyet: (smiling)

[personal profile] nolicenseyet 2013-04-07 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Eve smiled before moving over to help Keroro. Eve hears him thank her as she straightens and she echoes his thanks.

"Thank you."

They should probably go though...
