Warnings: Potential violence
Summary: The city is in chaos and the Watch is trying to do their job, but it's a little more than they can handle on their own.


The civilians have taken to the streets in a formal march of protest, holding signs both insulting and critical; some simply vulgar while others call for action- for change. They come from everywhere and don't stop until they reach Shibusen's stairs to rally with a growing mob of protesters. Shibusen agents gifted with Calming Wavelength stand by to allow attempts at mediation, but while they aren't violent, the protesters remain unyielding in their convictions.

In other parts of the city, trouble-makers work tirelessly to disrupt or sabotage businesses, paint graffiti over any untouched wall of known guest establishments, and harass the unusual-looking passerby. Don't go out alone, or you might find yourself cornered by these troublemakers with unpredictable temperaments.

The Watch is on the move in every district, working to protect its citizens and try their hand at peacemaking, but they're stretched pretty thin...

I'd like to think the Watch is made up of particularly resilient individuals.

[A faint smile to add a grain of levity to the situation, he glances toward the window] But, I understand. I'd offer to cover for you, but I've been summoned by Azusa-san to Shibusen. If you can't rest, then at least take care not to overwork.

I can't argue that. There were a surprising amount of individuals willing to pull double shifts. While it's necessary to ensure the safety of the residential districts, it's somewhat reckless, as well.

[Well, now he really can't argue. He doesn't know just how much she's working in comparison, but she really should return home to rest at some point]

Not yet. She just wants my eyes to assist her in searching for the captives. I'm leaving Lee in charge of my district. With his energy reserves he should be fine, but if you find anyone with extra time that doesn't appear worn out, have them aid combat intelligence operatives to coordinate movements.

'Somewhat reckless' is rather the motto of a fair few of our patrolmen, I am afraid.

[Again, herself included, but at this, Fabiola simply shrugs.]

Though in cases like these, I feel a little recklessness is warranted.

[Fabiola prefers action to too much thinking- and in the situations she's found herself in, it's been more a help than a hindrance. At his requests though, her gaze sharpens momentarily, and she seems to be taking mental notes.]

Understood- I will make a note of anyone who seems as if they have the energy to spare. Will you be requiring anyone to take over for Lee once he is finished?
