Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

It's okay. Being here can be pretty rough, and she's been through enough rough stuff already.

{She bites back a rather mirthless laugh, because really, that's pretty much her life.}

You definitely have a point there. Have you been here long?

[He's not sure if it's long or not.]

Since last November. What about you?

{She blinks, looking at him.}

The same, actually. Wow, I can't believe I haven't spoken with you before...

I... haven't really been out a lot, lately.

[Not since the Witch invasion.]

But I guess we arrived at the same time. Where do you live?

[itaidakimasu]

Casualty Communal. You?

[tauborn]

I just moved into Death City Heights from there. [How had they missed each other?] Are you a meister or a weapon?

[He drinks some more water, waiting for her answer.]

[itaidakimasu]

Hm...I'm on the third floor. Weird.

I'm a weapon! A stock whip, to be precise. You?

[tauborn]

[They'd lived eerily close to each other for months and never met. It was definitely weird.]

I'm a meister. I'm not really sure what a stock whip is, though.... [Is it somehow different from an average, run-of-the-mill whip?]

[itaidakimasu]

{Yako pauses in the middle of taking a drink, holds up a finger in a 'one moment' sort of gesture, then caps her bottle and promptly shifts to her Weapon form.}

[tauborn]

[He peers closer. Oh, that's a pretty normal-looking whip.

He can't help but think that the form seems a little... bold for such a cute, innocent-looking girl. (But you can never tell with these sorts of things.)]

That's pretty neat. Do you have a partner?

{The fault for her form, she feels, lies squarely with the sadistic partner she had back home.}

Not an official one, no. Not many people are used to using a whip...I've partnered up for missions once or twice though!

[tauborn]

I've never used a whip before, either. It seems like it'd be pretty difficult.

[But you could probably swing over crevasses and things like Indiana Jones!]

{She shifts back, flashing a peace sign.}

It takes a little while to get used to it, yeah. Kanji-san managed to pick it up pretty quickly, once he figured out how not to hit himself...

K-Kanji? You mean the guy with the bleached hair who looks super tough?

[He thinks Kanji is awesome, in fact.]

That's him! He's a sweetheart, really.

[He laughs a little.]

Yeah, he is, isn't he. He has a really cute little cat, too.

I have no trouble believing that.

So... do you normally just go handing out water during morning training? [He waved his bottle in the air between them with a grin.]

No, I just generally drink a lot. Same with eating. You looked like you could use it though.

[Again, he's reminded of Wako.]

Yeah, I didn't realize how thirsty I was.

It can creep up on you.

{She stretches again, her spine curving like a cat's.}
