Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

[Cloud's there for the first time, and he's got a cast for his broken wrist there, swinging away as he passes his leisure time with doing squats. Oh yes, you can join him to; he's willing to teach anyone with an eagerness to learn.

Just mind his dorky ego and try not to let it hit you on the way in or out.]

Going to assume they didn't talk about this and are on good terms after the log?

[When she sees Cloud there, Tifa's more than a little surprised. She knew training wasn't really Cloud's thing, so to be there as an instructor...

She approaches him and raises her eyebrows with a soft, inquisitive smile.]

And just what are you doing here?

It was probably a spur of the moment Cloud move, yes XD

[He spies Tifa as she comes into view, but he continues with his favourite activity, rising and sinking with a precision that years of practice have honed. He raises an eyebrow at her in return.]

Going to teach old kids how to learn new tricks it seems. It's a shame not to pass on my greatness with others after all.

[She recognizes that move, of course. Crossing her arms over her chest, she appraises him.]

Found anyone interesting to "pass it on" to yet?

Not yet, but I can still get a work-out. Why, you want to spar or something?

[He doubted that was the point of teaching, but his knees were starting to feel a little weary.]

I don't know, it might be a pain to take it easy on you, with that cast and all.

[She stretches, smiling more at him.]

Take it easy on me? This cast is like a secret weapon. If I bashed you with it, you'd regret it. Trust me... almost knocked myself out this morning.

[He waves the cast a little, but it's not all that threatening. Clearly, he's not used to using it for combat purposes... or threatening.]

So you're just going to club me? I thought you'd given up the nail bat long ago.

I'm sure there's an inappropriate Cetra joke I could make, but it seems like bad taste to me. [He seems to brighten at the mention of his old trusty weapon.] No way! I have one of those in my closet. I made one when I arrived here!

[She almost has to facepalm at his confession.]

You... actually made one?

[He stops his squat exercise to peer at her curiously, almost taken aback.]

Is that surprise I hear in your voice, Lockheart? How could I not make such a classic weapon?

Really? I suppose next I should go and find a work glove to fight off Kishin with?

[de_faulty_hero]

[He glances at her hands before smirking.]

I know of a place that you can find one if you're really interested. It will be like old times.

I doubt it'd work on kishin eggs. We'd probably just have to find some land worms out in the desert somewhere if we really wanted it to feel like old times.

[Okay, she can't help but smirk a bit too.]

Well, who said anything about using it on Kishin Eggs? Those kind of weapons are a last resort against them. I fought a big Midgar Zolom, does that count?

Somehow I have a feeling we won't be running into any of those around here... [She taps her chin as if seriously thinking about this.]

Go to a place call 'Australia' and you'll fight a kishin egg that looks quite a bit like a Zolom. Burrows in the sand as well.

Oh yeah, I'm dying to get a sense of nostalgia from that thing.

You are... or was that some sarcasm I heard in there? It's a good fight! Just mind the fangs and thick body that could strangle the life out of you.

I'll keep that on the list for Kanji and my missions.
[She pauses.] You two should meet sometime, you know.

[de_faulty_hero]

I knew you'd eventually go on it. Can't let me beat you, can you?

[He glances at her and then folds his hands behind his head.] Yeah probably... when there is time and opportunity.

Well, if you're going to be at morning training more regularly, I think it'll be easy enough. [She chuckles a little.] When he's not sleeping in, that is.

Seems like it. I don't see the point of agreeing to do it and not showing up after all. [That didn't sound like a productive personality if the guy was sleeping all the time. Wasted opportunities.] One of those night-owl people?

[heart_rhythm]

Maybe a little, but he mainly just likes to sleep. I can get him out of bed and here often enough though. [With her fists.]

Wait... you get to go into his bedroom and rush him out of bed? [He gave her a raised eyebrowed look.]
