Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

Masamune. *He nods towards Katakura's lord.* How are you adapting here? *Because from what he understood, he didn't remember his last trip here.*

[He flashes a grin.]

How have you been dealing?

Learning to work better with your Right Eye. *Since, you know, he doesn't have one either. Maybe that's why they work so well.*

So he's served you all his life?

All of it.

[From the moment he could remember, Kojuro was always there. He was more of a parent than his actual parents were.]

You don't mind that I have to borrow him a little bit for our partnership?

[He shrugs.]

He's said yes before I was even here, so I can't really change his mind.

*That makes Auron chuckle.* Why? Don't feel like getting skewered?

*He sets his giant blade aside.* What do you have in mind?

Nah, that's on the bottom of my list of 'shit I wanna do'.

[To answer his question simply, he put up his dukes with a grin.]

I'm not the best at hand to hand. *He slips his left arm into his sleeve.* Just try not to get me in the bad eye. *Because it looks like there's already a healing scrape near that one.*

Bullshit! [Though he was influenced by Madness, Kanji would distinctly remember who he ran into that day. He didn't mess around, and came right in with a few quick jabs.]

So what happened? [A pointed nod to the scrape.]

Norway. Monster threw me around a little bit. Luckily I had my kit there so it didn't bleed too much.

*Trying to fight a non-Madness Kanji might be harder. He gets out of the way of the jabs and tries to figure out the kid's weaknesses.*

That answers why I didn't see you. [He spoke breathlessly, focused on his assault. Auron could dodge pretty well if he put his mind to it.]

[Kanji had a rather glaring disadvantage: He was strong, but he put nearly everything into his attacks, leaving him open for counters in the follow through.]

*After studying Kanji for a bit, Auron begins to see that. After a wild punch, he gets a good hit to the body.*

[Sheena approaches Auron slowly. She had seen the sword he carried before and wondered if he'd be willing to help her re-train with hers.]

Hey, Auron. Guess you heard I joined the Watch.

I'm over in Gai's zone. He's rather...enthusiastic about things, isn't he? [That smile she's wearing shows she's not being insulting, just having a hard time describing Gai's personality.]

*he laughs* That's kind of how he is.

I like it. He kind of reminds me of my Grandpa--only a little more livelier.

[She eyes his katana and mentally compares it to the one she's wearing. And herself. She feels so short right now, but she knows that size doesn't mean a thing in battle; skill does.]

Ummm... I was wondering if you'd help me get back into practice using a blade. [She's not used to asking for help, Auron, so this is said with a trace of embarrassment.]

Skills a little rusty? *He does unsheathe the giant katana, though.*

[Tries to block out that giant katana as she answers with a nod.]

I've been using cards and seals for close-range fighting for so long, that I have become rusty in using a katana. But not in the theories. [Smiles and points to her boots..]

Luckily, I haven't forgotten how to use kunai, though.

As long as you have a backup weapon.

Might be smart to build up your arm strength again for holding a sword before you run headlong into a spar.
