Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

[And her tail wags faster in response. As hot as the curry might be, she's going at it with all the enthusiasm. She might need a wipe later.]

[And while she does that, Sheena takes the opportunity to get something that her friend might need. A bowl and some bottles of cold water. That doesn't mean there's not a napkin nearby, however.]

I'm glad you like it.

[She pauses in her eating and grins up at Sheena, licking her lips while her tail resumes overdrive. After that moment of gratitude, Amaterasu resumes eating the remaining, coming to lick the bowl soon enough.]

You're welcome. [Sheena's smile remains in place as she waits, napkin in hand, for Ammy to finish.]

I didn't think you'd enjoy it so much. Otherwise, I'd have brought all of it. [Yeah. She had made a lot.]

[Ammy's done soon enough and licking what she can from her face. That was deliciou-- there was more?]

[Sheena begins helping her clean up with the napkin, stopping when she sees Ammy's expression. Uh-oh. She knows that look.]

You want more?

[motherofthesun]

[Welllll, she would love more, but she'll let some other people have some.]

[ninjainviolet]

You want some more, don't you? [Sheena's smile is understanding.]

Hold on a second. [She rises and heads to where she put her lunch.]

[motherofthesun]

[Ammy turns her head curiously, watching Sheena stalk away. Should she follow or stay??? She just sits there in confusion.]

[ninjainviolet]

[She's not stalking. Her legs are a bit stiff from kneeling after training. She soon returns, walking normally, wearing another smile.

And carrying another container similar to the one she had given Ammy.]

I was right, I should have brought more. Here you go. [She laughs, opening the container and setting it in front of her friend. She doesn't mind sharing it with the wolf at all--especially since she seems to really like it.]

[She stares up at Sheena in wonder with her tail hitting the ground hard. If this was still home, many plants and people might be in danger of her inky ways by mere accident.]

[Her smile grows at the enthusiastic wagging, and Sheena sits on the ground beside the wolf to scratch lightly behind one of Ammy's ears.]

It's all right. Go ahead and eat it.

[motherofthesun]

[She gives Sheena a lick of gratitude before she begins devouring the new tray again.]

[Laughs gently at the lick before watching Ammy with a fond smile.]

You're welome.

[motherofthesun]

[Well, now Ammy would have to do something to make up for the wonderful gift of tasty curry.]

[No, she doesn't. Sheena's more than happy to give it to her without expecting anything in return. Although, she does take the opportunity to run her hand over the wolf's soft fur gently, her smile changing into a sadder version.]

[She doesn't mind Sheena patting their fur, but it's not hard to miss the attitude change. She stops eating and looks up, staring at Sheena]

[Notices the wolf looking at her and can guess why.]

Keep on eating, Ammy. I'll tell you when you're done, okay?

[motherofthesun]

[She tilts her head. What does that mean? Oh well... she goes back to eating.]

[ninjainviolet]

[It means Sheena doesn't want to spoil Ammy's meal with a sad trip down memory lane.]

It's okay.

[motherofthesun]

[If she said so, but Ammy wasn't sure. Again, the food was gone momentarily and she was licking the container clean]

[And again, Sheena fills up the bowl with water for her friend.]

Unfortunately, that's it for now. [She says with a small chuckle.]

[She'll gladly lap up some water before raising her head again and licking her lips.]

[Well, that's fine. She feels plenty full for now.]

[ninjainviolet]

[Takes the napkin and helps the wolf clean up before drinking from a bottle of water she had saved for herself.]

Guess I should tell you. [Sighs] You reminded me of someone who had been pretty close to me.

[Now Ammy will learn why sentient animals don't frighten Sheena.]

[She sits and tilts her head, her ears turned forward. She's listening intently.]
