Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

No, I'm saying you shouldn't shy away from doing things here. People just come with the territory.

[There was also the unspoken 'if you keep busy enough, you won't have time for a boyfriend' as well, but he knew that he wasn't allowed to say that. Only her father could.]

I'm not shying away from doing things. I have a partner, I've taken my part in the war. [She almost read his mind as she went on.] It's just not a good setting for something like romance, that's all.

[At least, that's what she was telling herself. Everyone else could decide for themselves, but Itachi's disappearance had swayed her one way.]

[He turned away at this point, pretending to be looking off towards other aspects of training. He was allowed to be concerned. She was his Tifa and always would be.]

[Gazing at him for a moment, Tifa couldn't help the soft, touched smile that came over her. Sometimes--and not very often--he knew just the right thing to say.

Biting her lip, she tilted her head and reached out for his arm, still smiling slightly up at him.]

When did you start sounding like me...?

[The smile looked good on her, and he intended for her to wear it more often than she currently did. He shifted his arm out towards her touch, his expression softening.]

About the same time I could beat you out while wearing a dress.

You still can't do that, so I don't know what you're talking about.

[She smirked lightly, dropping her arm back to her side.]

I have no need to prove it, but we both know that it's true.

[He smirked right back.]

[Waving her hand a little, she turned away a bit.]

Cloud, when the day comes that you aren't convinced you can always beat me, I'll wonder who switched places with my best friend.

[He opened his mouth to reply to that, reconsidered and just shut it again. Okay, she had won that battle of words, and he huffed softly at her, amused.]

I don't think anyone could mimic my hair, so you probably don't have to worry about anyone switching places with me.
