Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

I have not had the fortune to observe the difference personally. You'll have to speak to Stein-sensei or one of the Deathscythes.

There's Deathscythes already? How come we ain't defeated the witches yet then?

The number of Deathscythes to Witches is incredibly lacking. They could pursue a Witch, but each one we lack makes Death City vulnerable.

Oh.

So, it ain't just until someone gets ninety of them eggs? Gotta be a deathscythe too? Lots of them?

Ninety-nine souls. And no, they don't have to be a Deathscythe to defeat a Witch. However, a new Weapon with little experience combined with a Meister with a similar status wouldn't be able to defeat a Witch. With more experience, a pair can defeat a Witch; however, it's suggested that you do not hunt any Witches until your Weapon has collected ninety-nine Kishin egg souls.

How many of them deathscythes do you reckon we'd need to take 'em all?

Hm... perhaps a hundred or more.
