Description: Every morning in the city, Morning Training takes place to prepare the guests of the city for the war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on February 25th.

[It was pretty late on by the time he stopped to actually take a look around. He'd eaten a huge breakfast, talked to a bunch of people, tried to meditate and sparred some too...

Maybe it was time to sit down somewhere, which was something others had decided to do too, apparently.

Making the decision quickly he starts wandering over to the tree that Amaterasu is under, stopping a short distance away and crouching down.]

Er. Hello?

[Jaws wide, Ammy is yawning, but pauses at the hello, glancing over while snapping her maw shut. Whoops! She needs to find a better place to do that.]

[Oh, actually, who's this? She hasn't sniffed them before and he doesn't seem scared so it's fine, right?]

[She trots over to the crouched Naruto and proceeds to the usual sniffing.]

[He laughs just a little at the jaw, and the swatting to make it shut, only to smile broadly when she makes her way over, reaching out his hand and holding it there a moment, waiting for some kind of sign that it was okay to touch her--.]

Hey... What're you doin' here?

[The signal comes soon enough when she stops sniffing him and nudges his outstretched hand while her tail wags. Another curious inquirer asking why she's here. He'll know soon enough]

Huh... Guess you don't talk or nothin'.

[Not that it matters. He drops down to rest on his knees a moment later, hand moving to stroke between those ears.]

Aaah, you're real cute too.

[Nope. No talking.]

[She whines happily and rubs her head back against his hand. Isn't she just the cutest big wolf you've ever seen??]

[Maybe a little too cute, he's going to get incredibly distracted over here.]

Wonder if you belong to anyone... didn't think there was pets here.

[Best distraction ever obviously~]

[Again with the idea she may be a pet. Oh well; they don't know any better.]

[He's still fussing, a ruffle of fur here, both hands reaching out to rub those ears~ Aaaah. Too fluffy.]

... Hey, you need an owner right?

I ain't had a pet before.

[No, she doesn't need an owner, but if you're willing to feed her sometimes.]

Guess y'do.

[He drops out of the crouch a moment later, sitting with his legs crossed instead.]

Hey, after trainin' I'll come back an' get ya yeah?

[She... sorta sweat drops. What? What's going on?]

[Who knows-- but, he's getting up to his feet, and stretching those arms up in the air.]

Aaaah, that was a good break!

Right! [Suddenly a finger pointed right at your nose there.]

You wait here! I'll be back later okay?

[Looks like her usual ploy worked too well.]

[Uh.... might as well type to him when he returns.]

[Ploy!? What ploy!?

It... might be a good idea.

He's backing up now, arms folded up behind his head and-- yeah totally tripped there, didn't fall though. Duh, don't be stupid.]

Wait right there, remember?

[Wait here... Uh, well, she doesn't have anything better to do. They could 'talk' about it when he gets back.]

[She just sits there with her head slightly cocked]

[Thumbs up! Good dogwolfcat thing!]

[What? Cat thing?? Well, she does occasionally but... mrrr.]

[He's off though~ Gone. Training. You better be there later... or at least... Explain things~]

[Oh, she will. She can guarantee that.]
