Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

[And with that image in Amaterasu's mind, it transfers into motion, and they start to rise, flying up over the heads of other people in the training grounds]

[Amaterasu grins widely, going higher still. This was enthralling! She hasn't been remotely close to flying for some time and this was excellent!]

How much higher do you think we should go?

As high as thou wants - though we should perhaps stay at least near building we can land on if need be.

[Everything seems to be going well though, so Kiriha doesn't sound too worried]

[She pushes the wings to pump more, but brings them around to make sure they're above some buildings.]

It hath been quite a while since I've done this!

Same! How exciting it is to be up in the air again!

Thou hast flown before?

[Okay, she feels stupid as soon as she says it because, GODDESS and all, but, well, WOLF...]

Multiple times!

[She doesn't seem at all bothered. Whee~]

With wings, or...?

[Certainly, she's glad Amaterasu's enjoying this... and some of the stares people are giving them are pretty amusing to Kiriha as well]

A few times with wings. Another time on an arc and several times just falling.

[Huh? Should they come down? ... Nah.]

I'm not sure falling is really the same thing at all. Or doth thou mean gliding?

Falling, gliding... the wind whips past all the same and the landing doesn't hurt at all.

I suppose a goddess have little need to fear gravity, hm?

[Once again, she feels just how different it is talking to Amaterasu, even compared to minor deities like Kukuri]

I would say. Is it strange to talk about falling with such delight?

For most, falling from too high up is deadly, you know. It's only natural we'd fear it.

Ah, yes. Point taken.

You should probably be careful too - I assume in this place, that sort of thing could affect you, couldn't it?

[Definitely part of why Kiriha is making sure they always stay within grabbing distance of something]

Yes. I already realized that when I found myself unable to jump as high.

Well, then we best be careful... also, probably be landing as well soon.

[Staying aloft is kind of tiring for them both... definitely not made for long flights]

Yes. Ah, alright.

[She's having fun, but yes, she could go for another snack and nap to recover.]

[As they touch down, the wings unweave, folding in to just lightly wrap around the harness portion]

It giveth a lot of use in battle and mobility, but it is not particularly an efficient way to travel.

[She looks down as the obi weaves around her again in the harness shape]

No, it's not. Still, what it can be used for is enough.

It's a good one to practice, since thou certainly wouldst not want it to fail at a critical moment. But at least that is quite fun to do.

Yes! Perhaps if we train more, we could extend the flight time.

Yea, or work on the agility and fine control. Leaping in the air is fine, but if thou canst not move quickly, thou art not but a target.
