Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

[Now there is a face she hasn't seen in a while. Di makes her way over to Saya, unable to hold back a smile at the image of her with the towel on her head]

[ Saya rises her eyes to look at Disciple, smiling back ]

Hello, Di! It has been a while.

It has been. What have you been up to?

[sayatakagi]

Not much, actually. Just the usual work-go-to-missions sort of thing.

And you?

[scribes]

Likewise--I've picked up a nice job at the books and antique shop. I've been enjoying it there too. Haven't had too much luck in the partner department, but hopefully that'll be changing soon.

[sayatakagi]

Oh? How is your job going?

[ Saya nods softly ] It seems it's harder for people to find a partner nowadays. [ Di isn't the first person to mention they are looking, but not able to find any so far ]

[scribes]

It's wonderful. I'm a book restorer there which I enjoy very much. It's nice to be surrounded by so much history and things that you love. I've been learning a lot there. [And maybe indulging in the trashy novel or two, shh]

[sayatakagi]

Are our books even that interesting to trolls? [ she already knows their cultures are quite different ]

[scribes]

Of course they are! Very confusing at times, but if anything that makes them all the more intriguing. I recently picked up a book of your common myths and it was very enjoyable seeing the differences, and interestingly enough some parallels between ours.

[sayatakagi]

Oh - depending on the country, there are many myths you can find. Though I admit, I'm curious about troll's as well.

Perhaps you could write your own book, no?

[scribes]

Write a book? [Disciple had always wanted to write. More so creatively, but unfortunately she had just never been able to think of an idea that felt worthwhile, nor did she find herself to be especially gifted with words. Sure, it was easy enough to remember and copy down Signless' sermons or transcribe books but write something purely her own?

Still...the idea did seem fun. It'd be recounting stories she had already heard and read many times before. Not too different than what she had always done.]

Perhaps I could ask over the network and try to learn about myths from other worlds as well, make a collection of them. [She was warming up to the idea more and more]

Hm! If you enjoy writing, it could work.

There are also many trolls here, some even from different universes from yours. [ Like Aranea ] So it could even allow the parallels between the two.

[scribes]

[She nodded, liking this idea more and more. It had been a while since she had written anything at all what with Signless not giving anymore sermons, and her not needing to recopy ones he already from days long past. It would be kind of moot here.]

I'm sure you will have a lot of answers. After all, I imagine some of us would enjoy sharing stories from our world, since we miss it.
